You will get an idea about 3D Assets And Environments For Video Games, Sculpting, and other Visual development processes like Motion Graphics, Logo Design, Animation, VFX, etc.

The ACM Student Chapter at HITK is glad to announce we're bringing Dr. Arghya Kusum Das. He will be presenting on the topic "Cost-Effective Acceleration of Genomic Analysis Utilizing Modern Big Data Analysis Techniques and Modern Distributed Cyber Infrastructures"
*Brief bio:*
Dr. Arghya Kusum Das is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Alaska - Fairbanks. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science with an emphasis in Scientific Big data Analysis from Louisiana State University, USA. Dr. Das's research focuses on the scalable and efficient analysis of scientific big data (e.g., genomics, metagenomics, and healthcare data). It includes both development of large-scale software frameworks and proposing new hardware architecture for efficient data analysis. His research also focuses on the secured transfer of big data over the Internet using Blockchain and other decentralized technologies. Das is currently working towards developing an innovative, online platform, and curriculums to spread quality education in the field of big data analysis, AI, HPC, and related technologies.
*Abstract of the topic:*
Recent advances in large-scale experimental facilities ushered in an era of data-driven science. These large-scale data increase the opportunity to answer many fundamental questions in basic science. However, these data pose new challenges to the scientific community in terms of their optimal processing.
