On Monday, 23rd March 2026, teachers at BIS attended an insightful session by graphologist and mental health counsellor Ms. Nitika Mohta on “Decoding the Minds of Children through their Handwriting.”
With over two decades of experience, she shared valuable insights into handwriting analysis, including zones, size, slant, and how specific letters reflect aspects of a child’s personality. She also guided teachers on identifying patterns that may indicate emotional distress and emphasized the importance of early correction to help children develop confident and expressive penmanship.
The session was highly informative and beneficial for all educators.

Activity Week –
Final Day: Inter House Camping & Treasure Hunt
The final day of Activity Week was celebrated with an exciting Inter House Camping Day for students of the Junior School. The classrooms transformed into creative campsites as children enthusiastically engaged in tent making, mock campfires and fun games. Activities like Pebble painting, treasure hunt, and nature art using leaves, twigs, and flowers added to the joy of learning. The day was filled with teamwork, creativity, and adventure, making it a memorable and fun-filled conclusion to the week.
The highlight was the treasure hunt, where students went House-wise to find hidden chocolates, stationery items, toys, and coloured blocks. Each child could collect three items, making the activity thrilling and enjoyable. The day ended on a happy and memorable note.

Day 3: Inter-house Sports
The third day of Activity Week brought excitement and team spirit as the Junior School students participated in Inter-house Basketball and Football matches. The playground was filled with energy as students showcased their sports skills, coordination, and teamwork. The matches encouraged healthy competition and sportsmanship, making it a thrilling and enjoyable day for all.

Day 2: Art & Craft
The second day of Activity Week was filled with creativity and enthusiasm as students of the Junior Section participated in various Art & Craft activities. Each class explored their artistic skills through engaging tasks like drawing, tear and paste, card making, best out of waste item, pen art and creative crafts. The students showed great imagination and enjoyed expressing themselves through colours and designs, making the day vibrant and memorable.

Activity Week at Bridge International School
Bridge International School organised an Activity Week for students from Nursery to Class V before the session break.
The first day began with a Talent Show. The children performed with great enthusiasm and confidence. They showcased a variety of talents such as reciting rhymes, singing songs, dancing, performing magic tricks, roller skating, playing the kalimba, guitar and violin, acting, stand-up comedy, cartwheel, blind chess playing, calisthenics, taekwondo and identifying the flags of different countries.
It was a wonderful and exciting beginning to the Activity Week.

A Wellness Workshop for Teachers was conducted on Thursday 12th March 2026 in Bridge International School by Diya Jaiswal, a certified Life Coach, NLP Practitioner, and Counsellor. The session focused on mindset empowerment, emotional well-being, and maintaining balance in high-pressure professional environments.
Through engaging discussions and reflective worksheets, teachers were encouraged to pause, reflect, and identify areas in their lives that may need greater attention and care. The workshop provided valuable insights into self-care, emotional resilience, and designing a more mindful and fulfilling lifestyle.
It was an enriching and refreshing session that inspired the teachers to prioritise their physical and emotional well-being.

Gardening Activity – Class II
As part of the Global Perspective chapter, students of Class II of Bridge International School carried out an exciting gardening activity. They sprouted an onion and a cherry tomato by placing them in a glass of water and in a pot, and observed their growth over two weeks. The onion developed healthy roots and leaves, showing excellent progress.
They later planted the sprouted onion in the school garden, proudly completing the activity. This hands-on experience helped them learn about plant growth, care, and the joy of gardening.

Workshop on Activities for Fundamental Numeracy conducted by Jodogyan for Bridge International School Mathematics Teacher of Pre-Primary, Primary and Middle School.
A workshop on Mathematics Made Fun, was conducted for the teachers of BIS, by Jodogyan. The session focused on how teachers can help students mathematise concepts in the classroom, through fun activities and hands-on learning. Various kits such as Rangometry, Ganitmala, Aakar Parivar, stringing beads, dice, matching cards, blocks, Taming the Tables, Fraction Kit & Dice, Decimal Kit, Maan Cards and Number Catchers were introduced and demonstrated. The workshop was highly interactive, with teachers actively engaging in activities and using the kits themselves. The session helped teachers experience joyful, activity-based mathematics learning and explore effective ways to implement the methods developed by Jodogyan in their classrooms.

On 2nd February, The Future Foundation School organised a Poster Making and Painting Competition on the occasion of the 90th Birth Anniversary of Smt. Joya Mitter. 4 students from Bridge International School from Grades V, VI, VII, and VIII, participated in the event under Groups A and B.
The competition was conducted on the theme “Peace and Harmony”, thereby providing a platform for students to express essential humanistic values through art.
The students participated with great enthusiasm and represented the school with creativity, dedication, and sincerity.
