Dr. Bankim Chandra Das, a former graduate student at SINP, received the Clore fellowship for outstanding postdocs. Every year, 10 new Sir Charls Clore Postdoctoral Fellows are selected from among the Weizmann Institute’s excellent young researchers pursuing a career in the natural and exact sciences. The goal of this highly competitive fellowship is to promote outstanding scientists with the potential to make significant contributions to the advancement of science in Israel.

We congratulate Dr. Rome Samanta (Ph.D.-2018 from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, https://inspirehep.net/authors/1454319) for winning the prestigious Marie Curie fellowship-2020! He has joined as a postdoctoral fellow in Prague, Inst. Phys. (CEICO, https://www.ceico.cz/). Dr. Samanta had also won Newton International Fellowship to work on the project "Understanding the origin of ordinary and dark matter with models of neutrino masses and mixing" with Prof. Pasquale Di Bari as host scientist at Southampton University.
