This is the theme of this year for tuberculosis Awareness Day March 24.
This day can be a day spread awareness to combat TB, the infectious disease spreads through droplet of cough, sneez etc . Close, prolonged contact with infected person increase the risk of transmission.
Through awareness campaign, healthcare intervention education with early detection and along with proper nutrition intervention serves better health solution quality care of individual.

The focus of World Cancer Day 2024 is "Close the Care Gap"
This year is the third & final year of this campaign, theme is 'Together, we challenge those in Power'.
"With great power, comes great responsibility" - this Spiderman quote is very much appropriate to close the care gap for Person with Cancer. Power that can facilitate the complete and proper treatment of cancer can be very helpful for stressful fight of the patients and their family. Scientific Planning, Action, Promotion and Evaluation of the nutritional policies, programs and supporting the related organisations is very important.

The Nutritional care gap can be closed by following measures:

1. Promoting Healthy food security
2. Increasing availability of trained Dieticians, Nutritional Care givers for professional as well as warm guidance and counseling to both the PWC and their family.
3. Formulation, production of affordable dietary supplement feeds and nutraceuticals for complete nutritional requirements.
4. Establishing more community kitchens to promote healthy and hygienic selection of food and methods of cooking.
