The IEIโ€“IEM ME Studentsโ€™ Chapter, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Management, successfully organized an enriching industrial visit to the Kolaghat Thermal Power Station on 4th December 2025.

A group of 35 enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering students, guided by faculty members, explored the intricate systems and operations of thermal power generation managed by W.B.P.D.C.L. ๐Ÿ”งโš™๏ธ

This visit offered students valuable hands-on exposure to real-world power plant operations, bridging the gap between theory and practice. They also had insightful interactions with industry experts, learning about ongoing projects, innovations, and the future of thermal power technology.
