Whether Right to Information has played a key role in strengthening participatory democracy in our country?This is our discussion topic of today for ensuing CLAT exam 2020.In this context it may be stated that RTI has opened up Government's records to public inspection/scrutiny to some extent thereby enabling citizens to know what the government does and how effectively, thus making the Government accountable.
