গত ১৮/১২/২০২৫ West Bengal Health Recruitment Board ও স্বাস্থ্য ভবন এ একটি ডেপুটেশন দেওয়া হয়। সেই ডেপুটেশনে ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল ডেন্টাল সার্জনস্ ফোরাম এর পক্ষ থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ডা. দেবর্ষি মন্ডল , ডা অনিন্দ্য ভট্টাচার্য্য ।

ডেপুটেশনের মূল বিষয় ছিল, ২০২৩-২৪ হয়ে যাওয়া West Bengal Dental Service এবং Dental Education Service এর ফলাফল সংক্রান্ত আপডেট। দীর্ঘ আলাপ আলোচনা ADHS ( ডেন্টাল ) ও Secretary/ Controller of Examinations এর সঙ্গে হয়। তিনি উপস্থিত চিকিৎসক দলকে জানান, OBC সংক্রান্ত কেসে এখনো আমাদের নিয়োগে জটিলতা এড়ানো যায়নি। আইনগত কারণে তাঁরা ফলাফল প্রকাশকে স্থগিত রেখেছেন। WBHRB এর নেওয়া এরকম আরো বেশ কিছু ইন্টারভিউ এর ফল প্রকাশও একই কারণে স্থগিত রাখা হয়েছে। এটাও জানিয়েছেন সরকারের পক্ষে নির্দেশ এলে তাঁরা দ্রুত ফল প্রকাশে প্রস্তুত। তবে কবে ফল প্রকাশ হবে সে বিষয়ে কোনো সদুত্তর মেলেনি । তবে আসার আলো বিভিন্ন বিভাগের নতুন নিয়োগের ইন্টারভিউ চালু রাখছেন এবং ভবিষ্যতে ডেন্টাল সহ আরো বেশ কিছু নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়া হওয়ার সম্ভাবনার কথাও জানিয়েছেন। আমরা তাঁর কাছে অনুরোধ জানিয়েছি, যত দ্রুত সম্ভব নিয়োগের ফলাফল প্রকাশের জন্য। গতকাল বেশ ভালোই পজিটিভ আলোচনা হয়েছে এবং বলেছেন ফলো-আপ রাখতে ব্যাপার টা নিয়ে।

Big news for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) community!

On 16th December 2025, the Rajya Sabha officially recognized the scope of OMFS specialists in aesthetic medicine, including hair restoration procedures.

Key Highlights:
✅ Legal Authorization: OMFS dentists are fully permitted to perform aesthetic surgeries in the cranio-maxillofacial region.
✅ Educational Backing: Recognized under the DCI MDS Regulations 2017, which includes these procedures in the standard curriculum.
✅ NMC & DCI Alignment: The Ministry clarified that the roles of NMC and DCI are complementary, not conflicting.
✅ Patient-Centric Care: This recognition ensures professional integrity and improves patient access to specialized facial aesthetic treatments.
