Due to a medical emergency involving one of our team members, our previous workshop had to be canceled. We now return with the same energy, passion, and dedication, and are excited to announce our Bird Photography Workshop at Latpanchar, organized by Light N Lens under the guidance of mentor Bodhisattwa Maity.

Join us from 13th to 15th February 2026 for a 2 Nights / 3 Days immersive bird photography experience, starting and ending at NJP (New Jalpaiguri). Set in the serene hills of North Bengal, Latpanchar is a paradise for bird photographers, offering incredible opportunities to observe and photograph birds in their natural habitat.

During the workshop, participants may witness species such as Whistling Thrush, Red-headed Trogon, Mrs. Gould’s Sunbird, Green-tailed Sunbird, Common Blackbird, Tesia, and Green Magpie. With a bit of luck, we may also encounter the majestic Great Hornbill.

Faunascape: A Wildlife Photography Workshop

After capturing the stars and landscapes through our previous ventures, Light N Lens now sets its sights on the wilderness with "Faunascape", a dedicated Wildlife Photography Workshop in the heart of Sundarban.

We are proud to announce Sony as our esteemed Equipment Partner for this venture, joining us in celebrating the art of wildlife storytelling through the lens, under the mentorship of the Alpha Specialist Saroj Kumar Dora, Sony Influencer Dipankar Bakshi and our very own Bodhisattwa Maity

Join us from 14th to 16th November 2025, starting and ending at Canning Station, for an unforgettable journey through the mangrove forests. Participants will explore the region by boat, photographing the remarkable diversity of flora and fauna that define the land of tides.

We feel truly privileged and excited to share that we have successfully completed our fourth Astro-Landscape Photography Workshop at Zanskar with Anushtup Roy Choudhury and Shahrukh Srs Sohel .

This journey was nothing short of incredible as we witnessed breathtaking night skies and experienced the raw beauty of Zanskar’s landscapes. Even with temperatures dropping to the negatives, the enthusiasm, warmth, and energy of our amazing participants kept the spirit alive throughout the expedition.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our fantastic logistics partner Zanskarfeels for their constant support and flawless coordination at every step. Their dedicated team and excellent staff ensured that every moment of this adventure was smooth and memorable.
