NagaEd had the privilege to present our startup at the National Investor’s Meet 2023 organized by IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Center. The primary objective of the event was to create a platform where startup founders, investors, and corporate partners could come together, interact, and explore potential investment opportunities in order to enhance the startup ecosystem in the country.

During the event, a multitude of captivating pitches were delivered by diverse startups. Engaging in such events not only provides us with a platform to display our innovations but also empowers us to be ambassadors for our local communities, showcasing the exceptional talent and entrepreneurial drive that thrives in North East India.

The event attracted active participation from more than 40 venture capital firms, angel networks, and strategic partners, including prominent investors and industry experts from leading public sector undertakings (PSUs) such as ONGC, GAIL, Oil India, and HPCL. Their presence provided valuable opportunities for networking, mentorship, and potential funding for startups.

We were immensely proud when NagaEd was selected as one of the 30 startups to present our innovative ideas and plans for growth. The recognition NagaEd received at the Investor Meet underscores the potential of North East startups to thrive and gain acknowledgment beyond their regional boundaries. Moreover, it strengthens our belief in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the North East, which has the ability to generate transformative solutions that address national and global challenges.

On June 9, the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Department of School Education (DoSE), and NagaEd signed a service-level agreement to implement the 'School Safety Policy'. This policy, developed in 2016 by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the supervision of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Human Resource Development, Government of India, aims to enhance the resilience of schools in the country to potential risks.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Australian High Commissioner Barry O’Farrell AO and Consul-General Rowan Ainsworth on their visit to Nagaland for the Hornbill Festival, 2022.
We had a fruitful exchange regarding how Australian education institutions can explore opportunities to support skilling capacity in the North-East region.

The North-East region makes for an exceedingly adaptable region to export world-class Australian vocational, training and education programs due to our high English-speaking population and similarities between our cultures.

As we celebrate the rich heritage of our indigenous and tribal communities, it's exciting to think of the opportunities that this meeting will create for both our people and theirs.

Congratulations to Northfield School Teachers on graduating from the NagaEd teachers’ training program🎉

With the completion of the course, teachers are now able to identify the features and functions of the NagaEd Learning management system, apply basic technical skills that they’ve acquired and navigate through the CANVAS community. Teachers are better trained in managing their classes, contents as well as their students and support a blended learning environment.

NagaEd, a digital education company made history by being the first Nagaland-based company to obtain international investors through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Nagaland.
This breakthrough with NagaEd is a clear indication that avenues are opened for other local companies to avail and secure international investment opportunities.

NagaEd was founded by Kevisato Sanyü and Shiroi Shaiza. It seeks to improve the quality of education in tribal and indigenous communities by delivering teacher training courses and implementing digital learning management systems into local schools.
