What a stellar performance, Raiza - a Reading band 9 is never too easy to come by. I maintain that your Speaking and Writing scores do not reflect your actual abilities. Applying for a re-mark will most certainly fetch you higher scores, but then you already have the scores you need. So, all I'd say is pat yourself on the back and enjoy your success.

Your last attempt was heartbreaking, as you had managed to get 3 band 7 scores, only to miss out on Reading. Despite the difficulties, you persisted, kept revising whatever you'd learnt, and made it happen. With this kind of persistence, I'm sure you'll build a great career for yourself in Ireland. Many congrats on getting the required IELTS scores, Nirmal Ramachandran. Your original test date got cancelled due to Covid-19, following which you had to wait a long time to sit the test. And when you finally did sit it, the results weren't what we'd expected. I'm so glad you decided to keep going and give it another shot. Wishing you oodles of luck!

And yet again we're celebrating the success of an EOR application! Many congrats, Anjumol! Over the years, I've helped several students prepare for IELTS. When it comes to writing, you happen to be among the best I've taught. In fact, you may remember how a smile would appear on my face at times as I read some of your writing tasks, indicating just how well you'd applied the stuff learnt on the course. Naturally, it comes as no surprise to me that your writing score has improved from a 6.5 to 7.5 upon re-marking. I'm so proud of you. Hope you get to register as a nurse in Ireland pretty soon!
