Seeking to support struggling families and reduce food waste, Al-Buraq Mosque in Blackburn has launched a new community fridge offering free essential items such as bread, milk and tinned food. Run by volunteers, the initiative welcomed dozens of visitors on its opening day and aims to provide practical support for local residents while encouraging businesses and individuals to donate surplus food to those in need.
