Throughout my master’s journey, I intentionally chose to focus more on research and exploring ideas rather than living an ordinary student life. Along the way, I had the opportunity to lead several expeditions where I witnessed exciting possibilities to explore new dimensions in paleontology. Managing time, energy, and motivation within a demanding schedule was never easy, but I always tried to remain observant,to notice curiosities that may have been neglected, overshadowed, or simply waiting to see the light.
Together with my team, led by myself, Md. Ibrahimul Bari, we formed the “Gondwana Warriors.” The team facilitated expeditions and contributed to the recovery of several important fossil specimens.
These images are from the fossil exhibition held on my last day at my alma mater, the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar; the School of Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences (SEOCS). The specimens showcased there were collected by our team and are currently under study.
I am especially glad to share that all of these remarkable specimens are now being formally donated to the institute.
I specially thank to
making me feel special on my last day.
