A three-day self-defense workshop was successfully organized at B.K. Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, Bawani Khera, under the aegis of the Women's Cell, from November 24, 2025, to November 26, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday). The workshop was conducted by DP Parvati Madam.

Through this training, special emphasis was placed on building self-confidence, awareness, and imparting knowledge of essential self-defense techniques. During the workshop, students were taught practical techniques such as gripping, locks, hooks, and blocks, which are extremely useful for personal safety.

The program was held daily from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the college hall. All students participated enthusiastically in the workshop.

The Women's Cell coordinator explained that skill like self-defense empower students and make them self-reliant. Such programs will continue to be organized at the college.

On November 20, 2025, a high-level extension lecture on "The Importance of Microteaching and Lesson Planning in the Classroom" was successfully organized at B.K. Teaching College, Bawani Khera (Bhiwani). The program's objective was to develop effective teaching skills in teacher trainees and to give a new direction to educational quality. Prospective teachers were thoroughly informed about the importance of microteaching and lesson planning in the current education system, the impact of effective lesson planning on children, and how teachers can make lesson planning more effective with the help of new technologies.

The keynote speaker at the program was Dr. Rajiv, Principal, K.M. Teaching College, Bhiwani, who provided in-depth, practical, and inspiring guidance on effective lesson planning, teaching methods, and classroom management. His address proved highly informative for the participating students.

Welcoming the chief guest, Dr. Ravindra Ji, Principal of the college, stated that quality lesson planning is the foundation for developing a capable teacher. He emphasized the importance of such programs for the holistic development of teacher trainees.

College faculty members—Dr. Ankit Goyal, Dr. Sakshi, Ms. Harsh, Dr. Sharmila, Ms. Shweta Bhardwaj, and Ms. Kapila Vashishtha—actively participated in the program.
Non-teaching staff—Mr. Manish Shankar, Mr. Pramod Bansal, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, and Mr. Ashok Jakhar—made significant contributions to organizing, technical support, and discipline management.

Management representatives, Mr. Suresh Jangra and Jogendra Jangra, graced the event with their presence. They praised this educational initiative organized by the college, stating that such sessions enhance the competencies of teacher trainees and propel the institution toward excellence.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Dr. Ankit, who thanked all the supporting members and the keynote speaker.

This extension lecture was highly inspiring for the participants and reaffirmed the college's commitment to academic advancement and professional development.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti celebrated as ‘National Unity Day’ at B.K. College of Education

B.K. College of Education, Bawani Khera, celebrated the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit as ‘National Unity Day’. The programme began with Principal Dr. Ravinder Rathi offering floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Patel.

On this occasion, students shared their views on the life, contributions, and role of Sardar Patel in the unification of India. Speakers described him as a true symbol of national unity and integrity, inspiring everyone to follow his ideals.

In his address, Principal Dr. Ravinder Rathi emphasized that the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel teaches us that national unity and integrity are the real strengths of a nation. He encouraged students to adopt his principles and contribute to building a united and harmonious society.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem. All faculty members and students were present on the occasion.

Rangoli Competition Held at B. K. College of Education, Bawani khera on the occasion of Diwali

Students Expressed Their Creativity Through Colors

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, a Rangoli Competition was organized at B. K. College of Education, Bawani Khera, to encourage students' artistic and creative skills. The program aimed to promote cultural values, aesthetics, and team spirit among students.

The college campus was ablaze with colorful rangolis. Students created attractive and message-driven rangolis on themes such as Diwali, peace, prosperity, and environmental protection. Their artistry and color combinations added a festive touch to the atmosphere.

The program was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. Ravindra Rathi. Addressing the students, he said that such programs not only hone students' talents but also strengthen their connection to Indian culture. He encouraged everyone to celebrate Diwali in an environmentally friendly manner.

The college's Managing Director, Mr. Yogesh Sharma, Mr. Suresh Jangra, and Mr. Bijendra Jangra, were present on the occasion and encouraged the students.

The jury included Dr. Sakshi, Dr. Ankit Goyal, Dr. Sharmila, Ms. Harsh, Ms. Shweta Bhardwaj, and Ms. Kapila Vashishtha from the teaching staff. Mr. Manish Shankar, Mr. Parmod Bansal, Mr. Ashok Jakhar, and Mr. Pradeep Kumar from the non-teaching staff also contributed to the successful organization of the event.

At the end of the competition, the winning participants were awarded certificates of excellence in cultural activities. The college administration praised all the participants, stating that such events encourage creativity, self-confidence, and cultural harmony among students.
