🌸 *Counselling Session – “Little Hearts, Big Feelings”* 🌸

*St. Mother Teresa Public Sen. Sec. School, Khanna* organised an enriching *Counselling Session* for the parents of our Pre-Nursery learners, focusing on the emotional, social and behavioural development of young children. ❤️

Addressing the gathering, *Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anju Bhatia* , shared valuable insights on *positive parenting, understanding children’s behaviour, sharing, emotional attachments, daily routines and good hygiene habits* .

She emphasised that what may appear as stubbornness can often be determination, and that childhood should be nurtured with love, patience, kindness and understanding. Parents were also encouraged to balance academics with manners, discipline and social values, while actively participating in their child’s learning journey.

Our *Hon'ble Chairman Sir, Mr. Surinder Shahi*, appreciated the parents’ participation and stressed the importance of a strong home–school partnership. He highlighted that with love, patience and understanding, we can help children grow into confident, caring and responsible individuals.

The session reinforced a meaningful message: when home and school work together with the child at the centre, every little heart gets the right space to grow and shine. 🌈💕

The spirit of patriotism and creativity came alive at *St. Mother Teresa Public Sen. Sec. School, Khanna* , as the students of Classes III to IX participated enthusiastically in a vibrant array of *Independence Day Craft Activities* . 🎨✨

🪁 Class IV *Tricolour Kites* – letting the colours of freedom soar high.
🌿 Class V *Nature-Inspired Flag* – portraying patriotism through nature.
🎈 Class Vl *Balloon Craft* – adding colour and cheer to the celebration.
🕊️ Class Vll *Pigeon Making* – symbolising peace and harmony.
🍾Class Vlll *Bottle Art* – transforming creativity into beautiful masterpieces.
🌸 Class IX *Rangoli Making* – expressing the spirit of India through vibrant patterns.

✨ Our *Hon'ble Chairman, Mr. Surinder Shahi* , applauded the students for beautifully portraying the spirit of patriotism through art and craft. He motivated the young learners to dream big, work hard and become responsible citizens who carry the nation’s legacy forward with pride, dedication and integrity.

🇮🇳 *80th Independence Day Celebration* 🇮🇳

*St. Mother Teresa Public Sen. Sec. School, Khanna* celebrated the *80th Independence Day* with immense pride, patriotic fervour and enthusiasm in the gracious presence of *Chief Guest* , *Hon’ble S. Tarunpreet Singh Sondh, Cabinet Minister* , *Guest of Honour, Mr. & Mrs. Surinder Verma* , and other esteemed dignitaries.

The celebration commenced with the *unfurling* of the 🇮🇳*National Flag*🇮🇳 followed by a visit to the inspiring *“Freedom Through Art Exhibition* that beautifully showcased the creativity and patriotic spirit of our young artists.

A proud milestone of the celebration was the inauguration of *“The Pure Mathematics Studio”*, a dedicated space designed to promote mathematical thinking, curiosity and innovation among students.

The cultural programme began with a warm welcome of the esteemed guests, followed by the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge, hope and enlightenment. The stage then came alive with a spectacular array of *patriotic dances, soulful poems, powerful slogans* and *melodious songs* , presented with great enthusiasm and patriotism by our talented students.

🌟 Hon'ble *Chairman, Mr. Surinder Shahi*, addressed the gathering with his inspiring words, reminding everyone of the value of freedom and encouraging students to become responsible, disciplined and dedicated citizens.

🌟Respected *Principal, Ms. Anju Bhatia*, delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking address, beautifully highlighting the true meaning of independence and the responsibilities that come with it. She urged the students to cherish the hard-earned freedom of our nation, respect its rich heritage and uphold the values of unity, discipline, integrity and patriotism.
