🇮🇳 JITS (A) Karimnagar Hosts Consecutive NCC Combined Annual Training Camps
The Combined Annual Training Camp-II (CATC-II) concluded successfully at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar on 12th June 2026, after 10 days of intensive NCC training and activities.

The camp featured drill practice, firing, obstacle training, map reading, field craft, battle craft, sports, yoga, debates, quizzes, cultural programmes, and social service activities, helping cadets develop discipline, leadership, and teamwork.

JITS is now hosting the Combined Annual Training Camp-III (CATC-III) from 13th to 22nd June 2026. The camp is being conducted under the guidance of Col A. K. Jayanta, Commanding Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar, and Lt Col V. Krishna, Administrative Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar.

A total of 300 NCC cadets from the 9 Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar are participating, while 200 cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will take part in the Inter-Directorate Sports Shooting Competitions (IDSSC-II), Tal Sena Camp (TSC-II), and Inter-Directorate Shooting Competitions (IDSC-II).

The management of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions, led by Chairman Sri J. Sagar Rao garu, Secretary & Correspondent Sri J. Sumith Sai, Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar, and Dean (Academics & Audit) Dr. P. K. Vaishali, expressed their happiness in hosting this prestigious programme and reaffirmed their commitment to leadership development, discipline, and nation-building through NCC.

Faculty members and NCC Coordinators Lt G Jagdeeshwar and P*K Maheswar Reddy are actively guiding and supporting the cadets throughout the camp.

Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, successfully organized an Orientation Programme for First-Year Diploma Students and their Parents on 12th June 2026, aimed at familiarizing them with the academic environment, institutional values, and opportunities for holistic development.

Chairman Sri J. Sagar Rao garu extended his best wishes to the students and emphasized the importance of regular attendance, academic dedication, skill development, and goal-oriented learning in building a successful career.

Secretary & Correspondent Sri J. Sumith Sai highlighted the significance of innovation, discipline, professional ethics, and active participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enhance technical and professional competencies.

Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar briefed the students on the salient features of the C-26 Curriculum, academic structure, evaluation methods, and career opportunities. He stressed the importance of punctuality, effective time management, regular attendance, and active classroom participation.

The programme was attended by Dean (Academics & Audit) Dr. P. K. Vaishali, Heads of various Departments, and Faculty Members, who interacted with the students and parents.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, providing students and parents an opportunity to clarify their queries and gain valuable insights into the academic and professional opportunities available at the institute.

Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, organised an insightful seminar on "Spatial Computers" for the students at Shreshta Hall on the college campus on 05/06/2026.

The seminar is being conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering to provide exposure to emerging technologies such as spatial computing, AR/VR, and intelligent systems.

The resource person was Mr. Mallesh Dasari, Assistant Professor, Northeastern University, USA and Head of the Spatial Intelligence Research Group. He explained the concepts of Spatial Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and their applications in various domains.

The management of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions, under the leadership of Chairman Sri.J. Sagar Rao states that the institution is committed to promoting advanced technologies and academic excellence.

Secretary and Correspondent Sri J. Sumith Sai said that such programs help students gain global exposure and strengthen innovation and research culture.

NCC cadets sharpen their firing skills at the 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp-II (CATC-II) hosted by Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar from June 3–12, 2026. 🎯

Around 420 cadets from various districts of Telangana and 180 cadets from Telangana & Andhra Pradesh are participating in the camp and Inter Group Sports Shooting Competition (IGSSC). The camp includes drill, firing practice, obstacle training, sports, debate, quiz, yoga, cultural activities, map reading, field craft, battle craft, and social service programmes.

Cadets received hands-on weapon training and firing practice under the guidance of senior NCC officials including Col P. S. Singh (Group Commander, Nizamabad), Col A. K. Jayanta (Commanding Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar), and Lt Col V. Krishna (Administrative Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar).

Lumina Datamatics conducted a Campus Recruitment Drive at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, for final-year students from various engineering disciplines on 30th May 2026.

The recruitment process included multiple stages such as Group Discussion, Technical Interview, and HR Interview, designed to assess students’ communication skills, technical knowledge, analytical abilities, and overall personality.

A large number of students participated enthusiastically in the drive, and after a competitive selection process, 12 students were successfully shortlisted for placement opportunities with Lumina Datamatics with a package of ₹3 LPA.

The recruitment team from Lumina Datamatics was led by Mr. M. Michael Ilavarasan, DGM – HR, along with Mr. Patrick, Associate – HR, and Mr. Arul Mariappan, Project Associate, who interacted with the students throughout the process and appreciated their performance and professional approach.

The management of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions congratulated the selected students and appreciated the efforts of the Training & Placement Cell for successfully organizing the campus recruitment drive.
