Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Polytechnic – 261), in association with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), successfully organized a 3-Day Training Programme on “Programming Skills – C & Data Structures” for II Diploma IV Semester students from 23rd to 25th March 2026.

The programme aimed to strengthen students’ programming fundamentals and improve their problem-solving abilities, which are essential for academic success and career growth.

The sessions were conducted by Mr. K. Ramesh, Technical Trainer from TASK, who provided practical knowledge on C Programming and Data Structures. The training covered important topics such as fundamentals of C, control statements, functions, arrays, strings, pointers, structures, macros, and introduction to data structures, along with problem-solving techniques and test cases.

Students actively participated in the sessions and gained valuable hands-on experience, improving their coding skills, logical thinking, and confidence in handling real-time programming challenges.

The management appreciated the successful conduct of the programme.

The sessions were delivered by Mr. M. Sathish, expert trainer from TASK, who provided in-depth knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The programme focused on hands-on learning, enabling students to design and develop interactive web applications while strengthening their practical and industry-relevant skills.

Students actively participated throughout the sessions, showcasing keen interest and enthusiasm in exploring modern web development techniques. The training programme served as a valuable platform for enhancing technical competencies and improving employability skills.

The students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous) have secured *First Prize* in the SAP Code Unnati Innovation Marathon held on 13.03.2026 in Hyderabad. The event was organized as part of the SAP Code Unnati Innovation Marathon, which encourages students to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Nearly 30 teams from across India were selected for the final round of this prestigious event, making the competition highly competitive and inspiring.

The winning students presented an innovative project titled “Smart Solar Umbrella,” which attracted the attention of the judges for its practical application, creativity, and technological innovation.

A three-day training programme on Soft Skills was organized for II B.Tech students at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar from 9th to 11th March 2026. The programme was conducted by the Training and Placement Cell of the institute in association with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK).

The sessions were delivered by Mr. Thomas, a trainer from TASK, who trained the students on important aspects of communication skills, personality development, teamwork, leadership qualities, and interview readiness. The programme aims to enhance students' employability skills and prepare them for future career opportunities.

JITS Chairman Sri.Juvvadi Sagar Rao garu, Secretary and Correspondent J. Sumith Sai appreciated the initiative and emphasised the importance of soft skills along with technical knowledge for career success.

Dr.T.Anil Kumar, Principal, highlighted that such training programmes help students improve their confidence, communication abilities and professional behaviour required in the corporate world.

Dr.P K Vaishali, Dean - Academics, stated that continuous training programmes organised in collaboration with TASK help Students Bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
