Longmirjeng College marks Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm.

Dhentaghat, Sept 5: To honor the hard work, guidance and vital role that educators play in shaping students and building society, the Longmirjeng College celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm at its premises on Saturday, the 5th September, 2026.

The program began with the welcoming of Teachers and students hosted by 1st semester student Boloram Deb, followed by welcome address by Lokhima Beypi, lighting of candle in tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, honoring the Teachers, cake cutting ceremony, speech by Principal, special numbers by students, speech by Teachers, speech by students, vote of thanks, photo session and celebration feast.

All teachers were honored with Phulam Gamusa and small gift in recognition of their contribution and as a token of love.

Present on the occasion were Principal of Longmirjeng College, Teaching Staff and Non-Teaching Staff, Passed out students of Longmirjeng College, Senior students and among Freshers.The program concluded with a vote of thanks by student Sintu Beypi
