In the recently held 1st National Karate & Kung Fu Championships in Kakinada, Karumuri Lekha Niharika, a student of Class 8 from Green Field School International, Vakada secured First Place in the Black Belt category, competing against more than 2,000 participants from across the country.
Chairman of the institution, Mr. Grandhi Babji, stated that sports such as kickboxing and karate help students develop physical fitness and self-confidence. He added that the school has been consistently encouraging Niharika in various ways, ensuring that students receive training not only in academics but also in all-round development.
School Principal Mrs. Sireesha congratulated the student for her achievement and also appreciated the teachers who provided training and guidance.
