We feel immensely privileged to announce that मंtrana Debating Society, DAV PG College Dehradun in collaboration with Valley of Words International Arts and Literature Festival presents the "VOW DAV NATIONAL DEBATE COMPETITION 2020".

मंtrana Debating Society launches the official brochure of the event and commences the registration of the participants from now onwards.

We cordially invite all the institutions to the event and request all the debaters to participate in VOW DAV NATIONAL DEBATE COMPETITION 2020 and become "The Debater of India 2020".

Valley of Words International Arts and Literature Festival in collaboration with मंtrana Debating Society presents the "PAN India VOW-DAV National Debate 2020".
There will be 4 rounds each one having a different topic.
The preliminary round will be held on October 11th/ 2020, the quarter finals will be held on October 29th/ 2020, the semi finals will be held on November 08th/ 2020 and the finals will be held on November 22nd/ 2020.
All the rounds will be held through online mode only.

There's a cash prize of worth ₹1 lakh only. The winners will also get the framed certificates and trophies and e-certificates shall be given to all the participants.

डी.ए.वी. महाविद्यालय ने मनाई श्री जगेंद्र स्वरूप जी की पुण्यतिथि

करणपुर स्थित डी.ए.वी. महाविद्यालय ने दयानंद शिक्षा संस्थान के भूतपूर्व महामंत्री श्री जगेंद्र स्वरूप जी की पुण्यतिथि मनाई। सुबह महाविद्यालय में सोशल डिस्टेनसिंग एवं दो गज की दूरी का पालन करते हुए प्राचार्य एवं शिक्षक गण ने स्वरूप जी को भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करी। प्राचार्य महोदय ने उपस्थित जनों को स्वरूप जी के उत्कृष्ट जीवन से परिचित कराया। इसके उपरांत महाविद्यालय के संगीत विभाग के शिक्षकों ने भजन गायन के माध्यम से उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करी।

दोपहर में ऑनलाइन एप्लीकेशन के माध्यम से मंत्रणा वाद विवाद समिति ने 'मौलिक कर्तव्यों को मौलिक अधिकारों की तरह कानूनी रूप से लागू किया जाना चाहिए' विषय पर भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया। छात्रों ने बड़ी उत्साह-उमंग के साथ इसमें प्रतिभाग किया। डॉ पारुल दीक्षित एवं डॉ ओनिमा शर्मा की निर्णायक मंडली ने सचिन चौहान को प्रथम, राघवी सेतिया को द्वित्य, एवं मैमून जै़हरा व अनुष्का को संयुक्त त्रितय स्थान से नवाज़ा। प्राचार्य अजय सक्सेना ने इस मौके पर बच्चों को न्याय-संगत तरीके से जीवन-यापन करने हेतु सीख दी व भविष्य के लिए ढेरों शुभकामनाएँ प्रदान की।

Glimpses of VoW Debate 2019.

Valley Of Words International Arts and Literature Festival in collaboration with मंtrana Debating Society organised the Inter College Debate Tournament on November 13th, 2019.
The whole event was managed by a team of 25 Volunteers of the मंtrana Debating Society and Sidharth Siddharth Baluni and Ujjwal Sharma being the face of VoW Debate Management.
During the first six months of the formation of the society, managing such a brilliant event was not at all easy neither for the convener of the Society Dr. Onima Sharma mam nor for the President Prakhar Bhatnagar but a team work always succeeds so the event was one that has set a mark in the history.
