Celebrating our first academic milestone!

12 years ago, in 2014, Grameen Jyoti Academy - GJA -The first CBSE school in Chhaygaon constituency, was established, under the aegis of Grameen Sahara, with a vision to make quality education accessible to children from rural communities through low -cost and affordable fees and a nurturing learning environment.

The dream began with 18 students. What started with just 18 students from class has now reached a historic milestone. In 2026, after 12 years, these same 18 students, the Academy’s first CBSE Board Examination batch recorded an exceptional pass rate, with the school topper scoring an outstanding 96.6%.

This is more than an academic achievement.
It is the fulfilment of a vision that believed rural children deserve the same opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

A dream that started 12 years ago in Chhaygaon has been realized today.
