Greetings from The Electronics Club!!
What if the subtle ideas which pop into your head while day dreaming or during an intense imagination could be fabricated into reality?
Sounds amusing right?
But is it really possible to do that?
Well yes!! It’s very much possible! And we here at "The Electronics Club" will show you how to do that!!
The first stage in creating a project is to design it. Various software can be used for designing and simulating. One such common and amazingly useful software is MATLAB.
We are organising a two-day hands-on workshop on MATLAB AND ITS ADVANTAGES.This will give you a basic glimpse on how to use MATLAB.
The workshop will be held on 26 - 27 of July, From 5 PM - 6 PM, medium zoom app.
And to make it even better, it's free of cost!
Register yourself without any delay!

Introduced on the 29th of February 2012, Raspberry Pi has created a revolution in the field of electronics.
It is neither a microprocessor nor a microcontroller, its just a singular board that contains SOC, DDR RAM, Ethernet port, USB host and micro HDMI on it!!
Raspberry Pi has seen a variety of applications over a range of projects and devcies.
Being quite a flexible design, it can support some of the most common languages : Python, C,C++, Java, Scratch and Ruby!!
Each board varies from one other by the Processor used, memory used or the graphics chip!!

Have you ever wondered what's exactly behind that TV!?
How does it have such a wonderful display quality?
Who engineered this!??
Well this engineering wonder is non other than an OLED.
Two chemists , Steve van Slyke and Ching wan Tang, together made the first OLED, while working for Eastern Kodak industries in the United States.
This invention revolutionized the display world.

Want to make a heat monitoring device which is very accurate and economical?
Want to make a make your home controlled by the ease of a device!?
Well, Arduino Board is the solution to all of that!
What is an Arduino board!?
Arduino is a single board microcontroller which has seen a lot of application in the recent times
It has a great application and gaining importance with the evolution of IoT.
Back in 2003 when Hernando Barragán developed the first board, it took them 3 years to launch it and now it has become a boon to technology!

Our creativity has lead us to build things that were never thought of and made them into a reality.
Well, one such amazing creation is the single molecular switch. It basically is any normal kind of switch, but we don't have to operate manually, it can work on its own under certain instructions and commands!
Have we ever thought a switch would one day become so smart??

How do you think thousands of aircrafts fly every day and do not collide with each other? Well, there is ATC(Air traffic control) which communicates with each aircraft and assign them specific speeds and elevation so that collision is avoided
But how do they communicate when aircrafts usually travel over long distances and at various speeds? Well, ATC used Radars to communicate with the aircrafts
Radars are basically detection systems which use radio waves to send information/messages. Radars have been the greatest invention to ensure safety of air travel
Radars have a variety of applications and being used as detectors, locators, trackers and recognizer devices in several industries and sectors
Radars for the very first time used in large scale during the WW2 to detect enemy ships/aircrafts.
The invention of radars have been a boon to communication and safety in modern world.

On the 23rd of December 1947 at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, came one of the greatest invention of Mankind i.e.. TRANSISTOR
Ever wondered what does the motherboard of electronic devices contain!? Well, a major part of the boards are transistors.
Transistors have a variety of application and have become a part of our daily life now.
Almost every electronic device we use has a transistor in it-Mobile Phones, Laptops, Televisions, Electric Cars and a lot more.
Its been said that an Apple iPhone contains upto 2 Billion transistors embedded in it. Imagine, for such a small device there are a huge amount of transistors, what would a Television or an electric car will have!?
The evoltuion of Transistors has been instrumental in pushing technology to very high levels.
William Shockley, John Bardeen asnd Walter Brattain were the great minds behind this invention!!

Electrical automatives with higher load but at the same size?
Much more simple, efficient and cost-effective option?
Yes!Yes!Yes!
The latest research on Paper thin Galium Oxide transistor shows that it can handle 8032 Volts before breaking down.
The passivation layer is simple, efficient and cost-effective method to boost its performance!
This could be the beginning of a new era to build lighter and more efficient electronic systems that can control and convert electric power
Silicon, thereby losing its share to paper-thin transistor!
