REPORT ON TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

“Guiding with Wisdom, Inspiring with Heart”

AIMAN College of Arts and Science for Women, Tiruchirappalli, celebrated Teachers’ Day on 12 September 2026 with great enthusiasm and respect, dedicating the occasion to the teachers and educational leaders who tirelessly contribute to shaping the future of students and society.
As a special highlight of the celebration, the college organised the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award Ceremony under the theme “Guiding with Wisdom, Inspiring with Heart.” The award was instituted to recognise and appreciate the dedicated service, visionary leadership and valuable contribution of distinguished educational professionals.
The programme was graced by eleven distinguished Principals and educational professionals, who attended the celebration and were honoured on the occasion. The dignitaries who participated in the programme were:

All the above dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence and received the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award in recognition of their valuable service and commitment to education.
The celebration commenced with Prayer and Thirukkural, followed by Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu. The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. M. Munafur Hussaina, Principal, AIMAN College of Arts and Science for Women. The guests were formally introduced by Dr. N. Fiverose, Vice Principal.
The Chief Guest, Dr. R. Senthamarai, Principal, Periyar Pharmaceutical College, Tiruchirappalli, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the significance of teachers and educational leaders in building responsible citizens and a progressive society.
The gathering also witnessed the screening of the NAAC Video, AURA Video and College Overall Video, showcasing the achievements, initiatives and institutional development of AIMAN College.
The students added colour and vibrancy to the celebration through a series of cultural performances, including a Welcome Dance, Fusion Dance and Fashion Walk. The performances were well received by the dignitaries and the audience.
The Dr. Radhakrishnan Award Ceremony was the central attraction of the event. The awardees were felicitated for their leadership, dedication and contribution to the field of education. The occasion provided an opportunity for AIMAN College to express its gratitude and admiration towards educational leaders who continue to guide and inspire generations of students.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. S. Kanagasundari, who expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, all the honoured Principals and educational professionals, the Management, Principal, Vice Principal, faculty members, staff and students for making the celebration a memorable and successful event.
Conclusion
The Teachers’ Day Celebration and Dr. Radhakrishnan Award Ceremony 2026 at AIMAN College was a meaningful tribute to the teaching fraternity and educational leadership. The presence and participation of all eleven distinguished invitees made the occasion truly special. The celebration reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to recognising educators who guide with wisdom, inspire with heart and transfor society through education.
