It is affiliated to C.B.S.E., Delhi. It was 1991. The descendants of Late Rudra Kanta Baruah and Hiranyamoyee Baruah assembled in a day at their ancestral home to join in a family ritual. At the end of the function, the youngest son of late R.K.Baruah, Mr. Deba Mohan Baruah,B.Sc.B.Ed. an Asstt. Teacher of Teok Girls’ Higher Secondary School, raised a proposal to the senior members attending the fu

nction, about his desire to establish an English-medium school at the land and property of late R.K.Baruah. All the senior members seemed indecisive at the unexpected proposal raised by their youngest brother except one, Mr. Bhawa Prasad Borah, B.Sc.B.T., retired Special officer in Science Education, Govt. of Nagaland, seconded in favor of Mr. D.M.Baruah, as it was planned in a separate discussion between them ahead of the function. Both the elders without weighing up the matter approved the proposal, presuming a person, like Mr. B.P.Borah, a senior resource person and executive in the Educational Planning under the Govt. of Nagaland, was behind such a challenging idea. It was the beginning to see the ray of hope for fulfillment of the dream of Mr. D.M. Baruah to establish his dream-school, of which he would be the lone designer. After achieving the green signal from his seniors, Mr. D.M.Baruah started his plan of action independently under the guidance of Mr. B.P.Borah and instantly convened a public meeting on 5th January, 1992 to announce his intention to establish an English medium school at Teok. Public, after being satisfied with the briefings made in public by the convener of the meeting, welcomed the concept and eventually the most covetous dream-school of Mr.D.M.Baruah was turned into the form of reality. The dream child got its holy name, The “Holy Flower English School” under the directives of the trust, named in the name and fame of Late Rudra Kanta Baruah for the benevolent donation of his land and immovable property.The Trust wasnamed “Rudra Kanta Baruah Human Resource Development Trust”. The Trust entrusted Mr.D.M.Baruah to hold the officiating responsibility of the Administrative and Academic Directorate of the Institution in addition to the planning and development of the same. The school was finally inaugurated ceremonially by Late Kamal Chandra Baruah, a renowned educationist and retired Head Master of then Teok Girls’ Academy on 16th March, 1992 with 45 students in 3 sections of Preparatory, KG-1 and KG-2. The alma mater became full –fledged secondary school in 2002 and first batch of 13 students had appeared H.S.L.C. examination in 2003 under the Board of Secondary Education with cent-percent successful result; 4 in First Division, 2 out of them secured Star and 9 in Second Division. 12 glorious batches under SEBA Board passed the Secondary Examination from 2003 to 2012. Later on, after the school got affiliated to CBSE, Delhi, Class X batches passed the Secondary board examination from 2013 onwards with flying colours. The school got upgraded to Senior Secondary status after the extension of CBSE Affiliation on 2014. Batches of Senior Secondary Classes passed the Board examinations from 2017 onwards in two streams of Humanities and Science. Their results have been so far very much satisfactory and the school is giving all its efforts to increase the performance of the Senior Secondary classes and the upward trend in the performance can be already seen over these years. Students have qualified various entrance examinations like JEE, NEET etc. and are placed in renowned institutes for their higher studies in the world. In achieving all its success, the person behind the Director was none other than the superintendent, Mrs. Apurba Baruah, who at her utmost effort, accomplished all the arduous tasks entrusted with, by virtue of her vigilant motherly care and valiant confidence of mind.
