In an era where technology is transforming every aspect of life, preparing students for the future has become more important than ever. With this vision in mind, an insightful and engaging workshop on the topic “Future Ready: AI, Ethics & the Digital World” was organised for the students of Classes IX and X by The Thinking Project.

The organisation, founded by the Co-founders & Directors Dorothy G. Momin and Olivia Marchand, aims to equip young minds with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The workshop was hosted by Kumud Chandra Lekhok, a dynamic professional with a multidisciplinary background spanning technology, design, project management, and education. His interactive approach and practical insights made the session highly engaging and meaningful for the students.

During the workshop, students were introduced to the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), its growing influence in everyday life, and the ethical responsibilities associated with the use of digital technologies. The session focused on helping students understand how technology can be used positively and responsibly while encouraging critical thinking and creativity.

One of the highlights of the workshop was the inclusion of hands-on activities and interactive discussions that allowed students to actively participate and apply what they learned. Through collaborative tasks, brainstorming exercises, and real-life examples, students explored concepts related to AI, digital citizenship, ethics, and future career opportunities in the technology-driven world.

The workshop proved to be highly inspiring and educational. It encouraged students to think innovatively, develop awareness about responsible digital behaviour, and become future-ready individuals. The enthusiasm and active participation displayed by the students reflected the success of the programme.

Such initiatives play a significant role in broadening students’ perspectives and preparing them to face the opportunities and challenges of the modern digital age with confidence and responsibility.

The vibrant spirit of Assam came alive on 11th April, 2026, as our school celebrated Pre-Rongali Bihu with immense enthusiasm, cultural pride, and festive joy. The day was a beautiful blend of tradition, learning, and celebration, bringing together students, teachers, and parents in a truly memorable way.
The celebration commenced with a thoughtfully curated exhibition organized by our dedicated teachers. The display featured ancient artifacts and traditional Assamese items, offering students a glimpse into the rich heritage of Assam. It served as a meaningful initiative to instill cultural awareness and appreciation among the young minds.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by our respected Director sir, marking the beginning of a day filled with cultural vibrance.
The auditorium soon echoed with the rhythmic beats of Bihu as our pre-primary students took the stage. Dressed in traditional attire, the young performers lit up the atmosphere with their joyful dance.
Teachers gracefully accompanied them, adorned in elegant muga mekhela chadors, while the boys added charm to the celebration with dhols hung around their necks and gamosas tied on their foreheads. Their energy, innocence, and enthusiasm created a heartwarming spectacle.
Adding to the excitement, our dear parents joined the celebration, stepping onto the stage and dancing along with the children, making it a truly inclusive and joyful moment.
Before concluding their part, the little ones left the stage with smiles on their faces, carrying laroo and pitha in their hands—sweet tokens of tradition and love.
As the pre-primary segment concluded, the senior students gathered eagerly in the auditorium, awaiting a special highlight of the day—the arrival of the Jerenga Husori Dol from Pirakota, Jorhat.
The atmosphere transformed instantly as the husori group took the stage. Their mesmerizing performance, filled with energetic dance, rhythmic dhol beats, and soulful Bihu naam, captivated everyone present.
The entire auditorium resonated with festive spirit as students joined in—dancing, clapping, and singing along. It was a celebration of unity, tradition, and the timeless joy of Rongali Bihu.
The celebration concluded on a heartfelt note with the vote of thanks delivered by Runumi Ma’am, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event a grand success.
