Nayabazar JHS: 9.5.2023. 9 to 4 visit by Baiguney BAC Officials. Dr. Roshan Pradhan, Assistant Director, Baiguney BAC along with Special Educator Ms Suruksha Rai and other staff members visited our school and supervised us right from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM. The guests attended the morning and Evening Assembly and inspected all the classes right from 1st period to 7th period and teachers were given appropriate feedback. Meanwhile, the Special Educator screened prospective CWSN students for further guidance. The midday meal was also inspected and the food tested for quality. The supervision will continue tommorow also.

World Malaria Day observed at Nayabazar JHS.
The Health Workers from Soreng CHC/Nayabazar PHSC in collaboration with Nayabazar JHS conducted an awareness campaign amongst the children as well as the public of the locality.
The attendants were Shree L.B Tamang, Health Educator, Soreng CHC,
Ms. Sanjita S***a, CHO, Mrs. Sumitra S***a ANM from Nayabazar PHSC ,ASHAs and AWWs from the locality.
The programme started at the school followed up by a rally and ended with an awareness campaign at the bazaar.
The students participation was praise worthy.

Parents Teachers Meeting in collaboration with SMC was conducted in the school auditorium to sensitize the parents with regards to Child Safety, School Development Plan, NEP 2020, NIPUN, Vidya Pravesh etc.
The House was graced by Mrs. Uma Portel, Hon'ble Councillor, NJNP and Mrs Chanda Tamang , SMC Chairperson/ Member-Women Commission, Government of Sikkim.
Shree Santosh Mohtey reputed Yoga Teacher was nominated the Chairman for the Meeting.
Dr. Roshan Pradhan, Assistant Director Baiguney BAC, SMC Members and good number of parents did give their presence.
The Master of ceromony Mr G.R S***a skillfully conducted the August house starting with welcome speech from Mrs. Geeta Sharma followed by School Report and deliberation on NEP by the Headmaster.
The Brain Storming Session was the highlight with active participation from both Parents and Teachers.
We did have resourceful deliberation from all respected dignitaries starting from our AD Saab , SMC Chairperson Maam , Councillor Maam to active SMC members.
The meeting concluded with vote of thanks from Mrs Merry Rai.

Red house's performancewas outstanding.
Senior teacher Mrs Kalpana Madam and Mrs Renuka madam awarded the winner trophies to the children.
