Empowering Young Minds Through Legal Awareness & Child Safety

Modi World School, Wisdom City, Jhunjhunu, had the privilege of hosting Shri B. L. Chandel, Additional District & Sessions Judge, for an insightful and thought-provoking awareness session with our students, organised by the District Legal Services Authority, Jhunjhunu, in compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

The session focused on creating awareness among students about the growing challenges and risks faced by children in today’s society. Shri Chandel sensitised students about the importance of being alert and cautious, as young minds can sometimes be easily influenced by strangers, temptations, or seemingly small rewards.

Students were made aware of serious concerns such as kidnapping, exploitation, substance abuse and drug trafficking, including the ways in which children may sometimes be unknowingly used by others for unlawful activities. The importance of recognising unsafe situations, refusing suspicious offers, avoiding unknown persons and immediately seeking help from trusted adults was strongly emphasised.

The interactive session encouraged our students to understand their rights, responsibilities and the importance of making wise and safe choices.

We sincerely appreciate Shri B. L. Chandel and the District Legal Services Authority, Jhunjhunu, for taking this meaningful initiative to empower young minds with knowledge, awareness and a strong sense of responsibility.

Awareness today builds safer and more responsible citizens tomorrow.

A momentous occasion and a proud milestone for the entire Modi World School family! Modi World School, Jhunjhunu, continues to stand at the forefront of championing progressive, holistic, and value-driven education across the nation. In a celebration of visionary leadership, our Chairman, Dr. Dilip Modi, was felicitated by the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, at the prestigious Edupreneurs: Torchbearers of Education event organized by The Economic Times at Chandigarh. Supported by the National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA), this landmark initiative recognized prominent educational trail-blazers actively shaping young minds and laying the foundational pillars for a developed India.

Taking center stage as a key speaker in the high-powered panel discussion on "Reimagining School Education for Viksit Bharat 2047," Dr. Dilip Modi shared profound, timely insights that resonated deeply with leading educationists, vice-chancellors, and policymakers from across the country. Dr. Modi made a passionate call to restore authentic schools to the absolute center of the education ecosystem, directly addressing and challenging the growing, worrisome trend of "dummy schools". He emphasized that competitive exam preparation and holistic schooling should not compete with or replace each other; instead, they must work hand-in-hand to ensure that rigorous academic training is balanced with character-building, ethical grounding, emotional resilience, and essential life skills.

This perspective aligned seamlessly with the guiding address delivered by the Chief Guest, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, during the unveiling of the Edupreneurs special magazine cover. The Hon’ble Governor stressed that education in modern India must look well beyond marks, grades, and rote learning. For India to realize its ambition of becoming a developed nation by 2047, the educational paradigm must focus on skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and practical capability, fostering confident, compassionate job creators rooted in solid moral and ethical values rather than mere job seekers.

This distinguished honor is a powerful validation of our enduring philosophy at Modi World School. We believe that true education does not merely train students to clear tests in isolation; it nurtures well-rounded, inquisitive, and future-ready leaders equipped to navigate an increasingly competitive, technology-driven world. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to *The Economic Times* for this recognition, and we dedicate this proud accomplishment to our devoted educators, hardworking students, and supportive parents whose continuous trust fuels our journey toward educational excellence. Together, we remain committed to inspiring innovation and shaping the nation's future!

A truly proud and inspiring moment for all of us as the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria ji, addressed the gathering and paid a heartfelt tribute to the land and legacy of Jhunjhunu. Highlighting the district’s extraordinary contribution, he reflected on how Jhunjhunu emerged as Rajasthan’s foremost pioneer in education—leading the way in girl-child education, building higher learning without government colleges in earlier days, and sending the maximum brave souls to serve the Indian Army. He rightly commended the visionary role played by private educational institutions in shaping this transformation and carrying the torch of learning when resources were scarce.

Walking in the footsteps of this storied legacy, visionary leaders like Dr. Dilip Modi continue to inspire generations by redefining modern education while staying deeply rooted in service and patriotism. Honoring our district’s heritage of producing bravehearts and scholars alike, Dr. Modi’s dedication to empowering youth with quality schooling, entrepreneurial vision, and discipline stands as a living testament to what Gulab Chand Kataria ji applauded from the dais.
