अपने कहे पर मरते रहे
तुमने जो कहा सो कभी नहीं किया
जीवन इस तरह सुख से जिया
और फिर भी मैं खुश हूँ इस पर
कि मैं गँवार हूँ और गधा हूँ
क्योंकि वचनों से अपने बँधा हूँ
