The little tiny tots of our Nursery Section participated with great enthusiasm in a special Independence Day Assembly, celebrating the spirit of freedom and love for our motherland.
Dressed as our beloved national heroes—Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmibai, Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru—our little ones stepped onto the stage with remarkable confidence, innocence and pride. Their delightful presentation beautifully reflected the values of courage, sacrifice, patriotism and love for the nation.
Their enthusiasm and confidence won the hearts of everyone present. These little stars reminded us that the seeds of patriotism, when planted early, can grow into a lifelong commitment to our nation.
Small steps today, great citizens tomorrow!

A few glimpses of Loyola School, Telco Celebrating 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour!
Loyola School, Telco, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with immense pride, gratitude and patriotic spirit. The school campus came alive with the values of freedom, unity, service and responsible citizenship.
The celebration began with a Guard of Honour for Chief Guest Mr. Anupam Sinha, proud alumnus of Loyola School, Bistupur (1995 batch) and distinguished member of the School Management Committee. The occasion was graced by Vice Superior Fr. Oscar Horo, Principal Mrs. Charanjeet Ohson, and Treasurer & Administrator Fr. Gerry D’Souza, along with other distinguished guests.
Mr. Anupam Sinha, entrepreneur, IT professional and social worker, was felicitated with a sapling by the Principal—symbolizing life, hope, growth and a greener future.
The celebration was further enriched by the presence of distinguished alumnus Mr. Vivek Jha (1996 batch), who has pursued his education in the USA and UK and currently serves as CEO of the Underwater Inspection and Repair Unit of Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia. His remarkable global journey inspired the young Loyoleans.
🎤 In his address, Chief Guest Mr. Anupam Sinha encouraged students to become responsible citizens and committed nation-builders, emphasizing service, integrity, compassion and living as “men and women for others.”
🎭 The students presented a vibrant cultural program featuring:
🇮🇳 Patriotic Dance – celebrating India’s beauty and diversity
🕊️ Patriotic Skit – honouring the sacrifices of freedom fighters
🎶 Patriotic Group Singing – filling hearts with love for the nation
🌿 Tribal Dance – showcasing Jharkhand’s rich cultural heritage

The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Principal Mrs. Charanjeet Ohson, followed by a solemn pledge to uphold the values of freedom, unity, responsibility and service to the nation.
The celebration ended with joy, pride and a resounding “JAI HIND!”

A Moment of Pride for Loyola School, Telco!
The Loyoleans of Telco, with immense pride and honour, had the privilege of singing “Vande Mataram” and the National Anthem at the Residence of the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur in the presence of the entire District Administration.

Loyola School, Telco Wins Overall Championship at Kaleidoscope 2026
Loyola School, Telco proudly emerged as the Overall Champion at Kaleidoscope 2K26, the annual inter-school festival organized around the theme “Nature Nurture,” bringing yet another moment of pride and glory to the school.
Kaleidoscope 2K26 was organized by the students of Standard 5, witnessing enthusiastic participation from various schools across the city. The grand event brought together more than 700 students from 23 prominent city schools. Students from Kindergarten to Standard 5 showcased their talents through a wide range of creative, cultural and environment-themed competitions.
Loyola School, Telco achieved the following accolades in various competitions:

1. Elemental Elegance - Fancy Dress Competition (STD 1) - 1st Runners-Up.
2. Nature's Palette - Mandala Art (Std 3) - 2nd Runners-Up.
3. Nature's Symphony - Battle of Musicians (Std 4) – 1st Position.
4. Prakriti Ki Pukaar - Nukkad Natak (Std 5) - 1st Position.
After a day filled with enthusiastic participation and spirited competition, Loyola School, Telco secured the Overall Championship. Little Flower School emerged as the First Runners-Up, while Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya secured the Second Runners-Up position.
The festival provided a vibrant platform for young students to showcase their creativity and talents while also sensitizing them towards the importance of protecting nature and taking responsibility for our common home, the Earth. The theme “Nature Nurture” was beautifully reflected through various events such as fancy dress, dance, art, music and Nukkad Natak, highlighting humanity’s deep and enduring bond with nature.
Winning the Overall Championship at Kaleidoscope 2K26 is indeed a proud moment for Loyola School, Telco. The achievement reflects the students’ creativity, teamwork, confidence, dedication and commitment to excellence.
On this occasion, Principal Mrs. Charanjeet Ohson, Vice Principals Reshma and Zeenat, School Administrator Fr. Gerry DSouza, Fr. Oscar and moderator Colleen Xavier appreciated the children for their remarkable talent and artistic performances and expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the students and teachers for their hard work in mentoring them to perform to their best.

Outstanding Achievement by Loyola School Telco!
We are proud to announce that Aditya Leyangi, a student of Loyola School, Telco, participated in the CISCE Regional Volleyball Tournament held from 7th to 9th August 2026 at Carmel School, Bhagalpur, Bihar.
Aditya Kumar Leyangi won the Gold Medal in Volleyball and has also been selected for the CISCE National Volleyball Tournament.
Heartiest congratulations to Aditya on this remarkable achievement and our sports teacher Karthick Mahato, the trainer and mentor for the Volleyball!
We wish Aditya Kumar Leyangi all the very best for the National Tournament.
