Two nations (India and Pakistan) have suffered from three wars, recent so-called cross border terrorism, and perpetual internal conflicts (communal riots) that caused huge human and economic losses, crisis, cries, orphans, widows, hence human sufferings in immense proportions all around. The fragile peace in Kashmir, the battle ground of two nations since 1947, can be disrupted any time even by a small incident. The nuclear threats, mutual disrespect and misunderstanding especially among younger minds – that, indeed, is a dangerous sign, always keep humanity on either side of border on hold. Efforts are required to stop the hatred to flowing into younger generations and prevent further bloodshed and ensure sustainable peace and development in the region. This platform, thus, is established to discuss ideas, ways and means to build confidence, trust and greater understanding among the two people (Indians and Pakistanis) and enable them to think positively about one another beyond borders in a spirit of humanity and peaceful co-existence. By sowing hatred, nobody can reap love, so it is love and understanding that lead to sustainable peace and development.
