Celebrating Yellow Colour Day and Welcoming Summer Vacations with Joy and Happiness! 💛✨

The kindergarten students celebrated Yellow Colour Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with yellow balloons and handmade crafts, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere. The young learners brought their favourite yellow-coloured toys to school, adding to the vibrancy of the celebration.

As part of the activity, the students were introduced to the significance of the yellow colour, which symbolizes happiness, positivity, and energy. The children relished delicious mangoes, the king of fruits, while learning about its nutritional benefits.

The day was made even more special as it marked the last day of school before the summer vacations. The students celebrated the occasion by sharing snacks with their friends, dancing together, and enjoying moments of laughter and happiness. The cheerful smiles and excitement on their faces reflected the success of the event.

It was indeed a memorable and fun-filled day that combined learning, celebration, and togetherness, leaving the children with wonderful memories to cherish during their summer break.

The Investiture Ceremony of SGSD International School was held with grandeur and solemnity on May 22, 2026, within the school premises. The occasion was graced by S. Manjit Singh, Administrator, SGSD International School; Mr. Anil Pathania, Principal, SGSD International School Jammu; Mr. T.P. Singh; Mrs. Surinder Kour; and Mrs. Balwinder Soni.

The ceremony commenced with the formal welcome of the dignitaries and the newly elected Student Council members, who proudly represented their respective houses – Baba Ajit Singh House, Baba Jujhar Singh House, Baba Zorawar Singh House, and Baba Fateh Singh House. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility as the young leaders prepared to undertake their new roles.

Following this, the newly elected council members were adorned with badges and sashes by the dignitaries, symbolizing the conferring of responsibilities, leadership, and authority. The prestigious moment marked the beginning of a new journey of commitment and service towards the school community.

The solemn Oath of Office was administered by Principal Mr. Anil Pathania, wherein the council members pledged to uphold the values, discipline, integrity, and rich traditions of the institution. The ceremony inspired the students to lead with confidence, dedication, and sincerity while serving as role models for their peers.
