On 11th May 2026, GD Goenka Jammu proudly organised an enriching educational visit to the Reserve Bank of India for the students of Class XII Commerce.

The visit offered students valuable insights into the functioning of RBI, India’s banking system, currency management, and the crucial role of financial institutions in the economy. It was a wonderful opportunity for experiential learning, helping students connect classroom concepts with the practical world of finance and banking. 📚💡💰

Special thanks to the officials of Reserve Bank of India for guiding our students and providing them with valuable insights into the banking and financial system.

celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm and joy in the Primary Wing for Classes III to V. 💐 Students participated in various activities like speeches, poems, songs and dance performances to express their love and gratitude towards their mothers. 🎤🎶💃 The celebration spread the message of love, care, and respect for mothers. ❤️ The event created a cheerful atmosphere and made the day memorable for everyone. ✨

𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟳

GD Goenka Public School, Jammu proudly celebrated the Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 on 7th May 2026 with great enthusiasm and dignity, formally entrusting the newly elected Student Council with their responsibilities for the academic session. The ceremony commenced with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by an impressive march past that reflected discipline, confidence and the spirit of leadership among the young leaders.

The newly elected council members were conferred with badges and sashes by Principal Mr. Arindam Roy Choudhury, Dean Academics Ms. Susmita Roy Choudhury, Senior Coordinator Ms. Varsha Billawaria and the Wing Coordinators. Principal Mr. Arindam Roy Choudhury also administered the oath of office, where the council members pledged to uphold the values and ethos of the school with sincerity, integrity and dedication. Congratulations to Head Boy Advay Sharma and Head Girl Zarya Arora, along with the entire Student Council, as they begin their journey of leadership and service.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride, unity and patriotism. The occasion marked the emergence of a new team of young leaders ready to carry forward the proud legacy of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu with commitment and excellence.
