The Middle Wing of G D Goenka Public School, Jammu celebrated Independence Day with a special assembly showcasing the patriotic fervour and endless enthusiasm. The inter-house music competition added a melodious touch as students sang heartfelt patriotic songs, filling the atmosphere with pride and positivity.

Their confidence and enthusiasm made the celebration truly special. The smiles, music and collective spirit of the students reflected the joy of coming together to celebrate our nation.

Scoop Toss – A Fun-Filled Learning Experience!
Our young learners from the Primary wing of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu had an exciting and energetic time participating in the Scoop Toss activity! Through a series of fun-filled tossing, catching, walking, turning, and transferring challenges, students explored the joy of movement while developing important physical skills.
The session began with warm-up and stretching exercises, followed by engaging activities such as Continuous Toss & Catch, Walk, Turn & Toss, and Scoop & Transfer Race. 🥎🏃♀️
These activities encouraged students to participate actively while improving their hand-eye coordination, concentration, control, agility, and motor skills.
The session concluded with cool-down exercises, deep breathing, stretching, and relaxation, leaving everyone refreshed and happy.
The enthusiastic participation of our young learners made the session truly special. Their excitement, confidence, and determination were a wonderful reflection of learning through play and movement.

As part of Shiksha Saptah, our students of Class IV and V of G D Goenka Public School Jammu, participated in two engaging collaborative activities — “Garden of Good Habits” and “Learning Tree.”
Through these creative activities, students reflected on the good habits and valuable learnings they have gained in school while working together as a team. The activities encouraged self-reflection, creativity, collaboration, and value-based learning in a joyful way.

🌟 Atharv Shines on the Global Leadership Stage! 🌟
We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Atharav Sharma of Grade XI-F, who represented G D Goenka Public School, Jammu at the prestigious OxfordMUN India 2026 and the MU20 Knowledge Festival held at FLAME University, Pune.
Atharav served as an Assistant Director at OxfordMUN India 2026 and an MU20 Ambassador, a distinction earned from a highly competitive pool of over 1,000 applicants. His selection as Assistant Director followed a rigorous three-stage evaluation process, reflecting his exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
The MU20 Knowledge Festival, co-hosted by Oxford Global and HPAIR, brought together young leaders from across the country through OxfordMUN India 2026 and the Harvard Sustainability Impact Summit 2026.
