JAMMU: KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura proudly felicitated its exceptional young sports achievers who have brought immense honour to the institution with their remarkable performances at the Zonal, District, State, National and International levels.

The students showcased exemplary discipline, determination and true sportsmanship throughout the academic session.

The year witnessed an impressive tally of achievements across diverse sports including Athletics, Football, Cricket, Judo, Karate, Chess, Pencak Silat, Powerlifting, Skating and Basketball. Students such as Rohit Sharma, Nischay Singh, Krishna Sharma, Aman, Gagan Singh Manhas, A***n Banal, Saksham Sharma, Sooraj, Utkrisht Katal, Kashvi Chopra, Sanjana Tickoo, Urvi Sahwney, Aagya Chib, Pragya Sharma, Sukhmani Kour, Ayan Banal, Ansh, Ridhima, Kuvira, Aarav, Yash*ta, Preethivardhan and Mansi Rajput secured top positions and represented the school with excellence in multiple competitive events.

A moment of great pride for the institution came when Sanjana Tickoo (Class XI-B) and Sukhmani Kour (Class IX-B) earned international and national-level selections in Pencak Silat (U-17) and Karate (U-17) respectively. Kashvi Chopra (Class XII-C) earned state-level selection in Judo (U-17), while Utkrisht Katal and Sooraj displayed remarkable strength, securing honours in Powerlifting at the district level.

Young athletes including A***n Banal, Rohit Sharma, Krishna Sharma, and Nischay Singh excelled in track events, while the Cricket and Basketball teams left a strong mark at the Zonal level, showcasing teamwork and competitiveness.

The school acknowledged the significant role of its Sports Department, whose trained coaches and mentors consistently provide expert supervision through regular practice sessions, inter-house tournaments, performance analysis, and fitness training — helping students refine their skills and grow in confidence.
