Saraswati kala Kendra

To save the traditional art from extinction, founded an organization naming “Saraswati Kala Kendra” in 1997 which organize 2-3 art camps yearly.

In this age of modernisation ,Babu Lal Marotia is working hard in his life to save the traditional art and artists from extinction.From the age of ten he had started learning the details of traditional miniature art from his father late Shri Nathu lal Marotia and PADAM SHREE late Kripa lSingh Shekhawat.After being awarded with National Award in 1997,he had engaged his life in training todays' yo

uth with traditional arts. To bring awareness among youth for the same he founded "SARASWATI KALA KENDRA" in 1997.Through institutions every year various training camps,art exhibitions,work schools and felicitation ceremonies are being organised.In his guidance and active participation Saraswati kala kendra is working hard to preserve our traditional art of miniature paintings. From last 16 years,every year Saraswati Kala Kendra in association with Mahaharaja Sawai ManSingh II museum,City Palace ,Jaipur, is organising training camps for the new learners,to flourish this art.He also actively takes part in teaching the students every year.Through these camps 15000 students are trained till now and various young artists have come up and brought laurels for the country. More than 1500 young artists from countries like JAPAN ,FRANCE,KOREA,USA,CANADA,ITALY,VENEZUELA,GERMANY etc have also been trained in this traditional INDIAN art.Some of these artists had made Babulal ji as their honoured teacher(Guru In our culture). Art Exhibitons by Saraswati kala kendra - Saraswati kala kendra organises exhibitions in India and abroad to boost the morale of artists.Since last 10 years exhibition by name of MASTERPIECE SHOW is held in Jaipur where artists and artisans actively take part.The institution has helped artists and artisans for following events as well. In december 2014 ,20 artisans took part in exhibition in Milan,Italy. In january 2015,10 artists took part in exhibition in Chungou City,China. In march 2015 ,15 national awardee artists took part in exhibition in Chile. In April 2015,in Paris ,France and all above Exhibitions Babu Lal Marotia also presented his art and trained youth with miniature art there. Babulal Ji showcased his work in France(1984 and 2015), Singapore(2000), Venezuela (2003),Martenic(2005),Berlin(2006),Argentina(2008),New York(2009), Chicago,Greece,Italy(2010),London(2011),Switzerland(2012),China,Chile and France(2015).
