A *Fitness Awareness Program* - _"Fitness - A Holistic Approach"_ is planned to be conducted by ```METMASS``` , The Students' Society of _Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering_ for our whole Institute and will be followed by intra branch sports events for students, staff and faculty members.

The event is an initiative towards our Honorable Prime Minister's vision of _Fit India Movement_ stating "The need of the hour is to take the country towards a healthier future.''

The purpose of the event is to inculcate health awareness in academia and to encourage our stude nts, staff and faculty members to remain healthy and fit by including physical activities and sports in their daily lives. *Participation of students from all branches is mandatory.* ***refreshments will be provided.
