Awareness Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunities | 22 December 2025

The Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre successfully organised its first quarterly event, an Awareness Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunities, on 22 December 2025.

The session was conducted by Dr. Bhuvaneswari Srinivasan, Ph.D., Independent Scientist, Entrepreneur, Founder, and Scientific Director, Bunova Lab Desk (R&D Translational Research Consultancy), Chennai.

The workshop aimed to encourage creative thinking, problem-solving, and innovation while highlighting the vital role of entrepreneurs in economic development. The session was highly informative and motivating, inspiring students to explore entrepreneurship as a promising alternative career path. The Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre successfully organized its first quarterly event, a “My Story” motivational session by successful innovators and entrepreneurs, on 24 December 2025.

The session was delivered by Ms. H. Deepika, Team Lead & Entrepreneur; Ms. D. Tejashree, Research Specialist & Entrepreneur; and Mr. R. Gowtham, Entrepreneur & Designer, Neurotronix Pvt. Ltd., Chennai – 44.

The programme boosted self-confidence and motivation among student participants, inspiring them to think creatively and develop a strong problem-solving mindset. It also created awareness about the importance of innovation, perseverance, and resilience in achieving success.

Boot Camp on Problem Solving & Ideation | 24 December 2025

The Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre successfully organised its first quarterly event, a Boot Camp on Problem Solving and Ideation, on 24 December 2025.

The session was conducted by Dr. C. R. Rene Robin, Professor (CSE) and Dean (Innovations), Sri Sairam Engineering College (Autonomous), Chennai – 44.

The primary objective of the boot camp was to equip participants with structured approaches to problem solving and ideation, enabling them to identify real-world challenges and develop innovative, feasible solutions. The programme focused on creative thinking, user-centric design, and collaborative ideation techniques.

The session successfully fostered an innovation-driven mindset among students, helping them progress systematically from problem identification to idea generation and laying a strong foundation for innovation, entrepreneurship, and project development.

Session on Achieving Problem–Solution Fit | 22 December 2025

The Institutional Innovation Council of Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre successfully organised its first quarterly event, a session on “Achieving Problem–Solution Fit”, on 22 December 2025.

The session was led by Mr. A. Muthuvel, Senior R&D Executive, and Mr. S. A. Jeyandan, R&D Executive, Sri Sairam Techno Incubation Foundation, Sairam Institutions, Chennai – 44.

The programme aimed to help students understand the concept of Problem–Solution Fit and its significance in building successful products and startups. Emphasis was placed on identifying real customer problems and validating whether proposed solutions effectively address those needs before scaling.

The session successfully equipped students with foundational knowledge and practical tools for systematic idea validation, fostering a customer-centric mindset and laying the groundwork for future learning in entrepreneurship and product development.
