आषाढी एकादशी, ज्याला देवशयनी एकादशी देखील म्हणतात, ज्यादिवशी भगवान विष्णू 'योगनिद्रे'मध्ये लीन होतात आणि चातुर्मासाचा प्रारंभ होतो, जो कार्तिक महिन्यातील प्रबोधिनी एकादशीपर्यंत चालतो.

या दिवसाचे औचित्य साधून वारकरी विठ्ठलाच्या भेटीसाठी पंढरपूरला पायी चालत जातात. विठ्ठल भक्तिपर गीतं, नृत्य व टाळ-मृदंगाच्या नादात वारीचा आनंद घेतात. या दिवशी विठ्ठलाची पूजा व उपवास करणे शुभ मानले जाते.

धार्मिक वारीप्रमाणेच, एमआयटी विश्वशांती गुरुकुल स्कूलमध्ये आम्ही विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये भक्ती, एकता व बंधुतेची भावना रुजवतो आणि भारतीय संस्कृती जोपासतो, ज्यामुळे ते ज्ञानासोबतच संस्कारक्षमही बनतात.
