The student organization- Svikratani successfully organized a Tech event Maharambh 2k22 under the School of Data Science and Forecasting. The objective of the event was to encourage collaborative project building among the students and induct them with the process of software development life cycle.
Over the period of 14 days 30+ teams participated in the event to build projects following a systematic technique of development current in the industry. Out of the participating teams, 10 qualified for the day of the final presentation, which was held on 12th March 2022.
Chairing this event was professor and head of department Dr. Vijay Baboo Gupta who graced the stage and enlightened students with his words saying that after two years of covid, this was the first time such event was being held and encouraged students to organize more such events and assuring his support.
As judges for the event were-
Mr. Makhan Kumbhkar тАУ Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science at Christian Eminent Academy of management.
Mr. Yashraj Nigam- Associate Consultant at KPMG digital lighthouse.
Ms. Anjali Suryawanshi- Data Scientist at Potomac Technologies.
The team presentations started as teams were being called out using chits. The teams in order were as follows:
Mind Mantra- Piyush Dwivedi and Mohit Pandey presented a Student Management System.
Pythons- Vishal Yadav and Himanshi Joshi presented a College Companion Website.
Ex-Holkarians- Himanshu Jain, Tarun Choudhary and Tushar Sonp presented BigMart -Sales Prediction.
Brogrammers- Indrajeet Gadekar, Abhishek Rathore and Devendra Ingle presented a Library Management System.
D-Rex- Atharva Sadh, Shivank Jat and Nandini Raghuvanshi presented an A.I Chatbot-LIZZY.
Augmentors- Arunim Malviya, Sarthak Bhatore and Harsh*t Khandelwal presented BladeX-Ceiling Fan Combination.
IW- Ishkruti Waghmare presented a Su***de Preventing A.I Chatbot-AIUTO.
Terminators- Tanishq Yadav, Tushar Panchal and Abdul Nagori presented a real-life application of Knapsack-Problem.
Vinis- Nivesh Gaikwad, Vinayak Gavariya and Shresht Kaushal presented a Hostel Management Web Application.
CyberTek- Piyush Joshi, Meganshu Kumrawat and Harman presented a Hostel Listing Web App.
After the presentations the event moved forward with an Interactive Session with the judges where they gave feedback on the projects, shared their knowledge and experiences as industry experts, advised students on following a path to learn Data Science and also answered various queries of students.
After which the results were announced and among the 10 innovators two of them succeeded in achieving the positions. Team Ex-Holkarians won the First Prize while Team CyberTek won the runner up position. They were awarded with Certificate of Excellence.
As the whole day became a witness to many memorable moments and new thoughts the event ended with a Vote of Thanks, Thanking Student Co-ordinators, participants, judges and volunteers for making the event successful.
