Oleksandr Bogomolets!

In 1946, the Kyiv Medical Institute, now the National Medical University in the capital of Ukraine was assigned the name of one of the modern fundator of life sciences, Alexandra Oleksandroviča Bogomolets. For over seven decades, the state's leading educational institution in medicine has been reincarnated and perfected as a landmark of the future on its giant highways.
The greatest domestic pathophysiologist and public figure, construction of modern Ukrainian science medical bogomolets was born on May 24, 1881 in Kiev. After a student debut in his hometown graduated from Novorosian University in Odessa. The thesis for the degree of Dr. Medicine in experimental endocrinology in the problem of the function of adrenal glands defended under the lead by I.P. Pavlova. In 1911, he was in Sorbonne (France). In the same year, he was elected professor and head of the department of Saratovsky University, where he worked for fifteen years, creating a number of modern labs and pathophysiological destinations. In 1925-1931 Head of the Department of Pathological Physiology of the 2th Moscow Medical Institute, at the same time founder and director of the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Moscow.
In 1929, he was elected academician en ssr, in 1930-1946 is her president. Organizer and director of the leading medical and biological institutions of Ukraine at the time - the Institute of experimental biology and pathology (1930) and the Institute of clinical physiology (1934).
The main scientific works of medical bogomolets are dedicated to the issues of pathological physiology, endocrinology, vegetative nervous system, oncology, transfusiology, teaching about constitutions, aspects of life, formulated and implemented the concept that health potency are determined by the state of the body's reactivity related to the functions of the nervous system and connective fabric. He created and developed a teaching about the physiological system of connective tissue, applying for its gain as a sanation fund with a number of illnesses and pathologies invented by the antireticular citotoxic serum (ACS) belonging to world discoveries. Initiator and manager of works to study mechanisms of transfusion and blood conservation. The greatest organizer of science in Ukraine.
Bogomolets was closely related to the Kyiv Medical Institute, led in the mid-thirties of the state examination commission in college, worked intently with the pleâdoû of leading professors of KMI, such as M.Д. Stražesko, Ishchenko, syrotynin Gubergricʹ, B.М. Mankovsky, E.О. Tatarinov, O.П. Krimov , L.О. Koreisha, O.Ю. Moore, I.О. Tie. According to the initiative of the head of the department of pathological physiology of nmu syrotynin zajka (1960-1991) at the Kyiv Medical Institute were founded annual bogomolets readings, which have been held in the half centuries.
