Dear Friends,

It gives me immense pleasure to share with you all that JNV Foundation is celebrating its 5th Foundation day cm annual day on 05.01.2020 at Delhi. The program details of the same shall be shared shortly.

In continuation of the above, nominations are invited for *Navodaya Gaurav* awards for the following categories from students and alumni of various JNVs:-
1. Sports
2. Culture/ co-curricular/ extra curricular activities
3. Academics
4. Social
5. Politics
6. Professional
7. Bravery and
8. Life time achievement award for retired staff (teaching/ non teaching, both).

Merely submitting nominations will not entitle anyone eligible for the award. All the nominations will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee for the outstanding and exemplary work in the respective field or any other field of eminence.

Please feel free to send your nominations or your recommendations for nomination of any other alumni/ staff along with a passport size (visa standard) photo and a wtite up of 500 words in support of your nomination/ recommendation at *[email protected]* by or before 20.12.2019.

Dear Navodayans,
This is for general information to all the alumni members of the JNV Chandel that a proposal was framed to establish an Alumni Association of the JNV Chandel on the Alumni Day of the Vidyalaya 2018.
To bring up the aforesaid Association in the concrete form, we, some among the interested members held a meeting with luncheon programme at Kakching on the 29th December 2018 with an aim to form the said Alumni Association. The meeting has resolved to hold a General Body Meeting under the banner of Get-together Programme on the 9th February 2019 at the place where the first JNV Chandel was rooted ie. Monsang Pantha at 10 am sharp.
I,on behalf of the interested members, pray for your sincere and humble participation on the said Day with a sense of responsibility and effort so that we can be United and resourceful for the younger generation of the Vidyalaya family.
Hope everyone of us would feel the necessity of forming the said Alumni Association and be a part of it. It's high time for pay back for what we were given by the Vidyalaya.
