Some mornings you remember for what you made. This one you remember for who you made it with.

Clay Together brought parents and children to the same table, sleeves up, hands in the clay. There were no instructions to follow and no wrong way to start — only a lump of earth, a wheel that did half the work, and someone beside you to steady it.

Between the shaping there was music. After the music, back to the table.

What went home was small and imperfect and entirely theirs. Made steadily. Made together. Made to keep.

Thank you to every pair of hands that joined us.

Some mornings you remember for what you made. This one you remember for who you made it with.

Some days, the whole school goes quiet for a different reason.

On International Literacy Day, our library filled up early. Children picked recommendations off the Pick Me, Read Me board, wrote down the stories that stayed with them, and found a spot on the floor to listen. Teachers arrived in character. Books were shared three heads to a page.

What we were really watching was a room full of children choosing to read, not because they were asked to, but because someone made it worth doing.

Away from classrooms and lesson plans, we gathered to celebrate the people who give so much of themselves, every single day. Between smiles, conversations, shared memories and little moments of joy, we remembered something beautiful, teachers deserve to be celebrated too. 🤍
