Humble Appeal to Learn Telugu
I request all my Muslim brothers and sisters to please learn Telugu. Wherever we live, language matters. We are locals of Telangana, and we belong to the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

If we are not aware of Telugu, how can we do business transactions?

How can we communicate effectively with common people?

How can we serve better if we are in administration or government services?

Urdu may be our cultural language, but today it is no longer sufficient for daily public interaction. At the very least, we must know Telugu, which is the most widely spoken language of our region.
Let us develop the skill of learning Telugu and make an effort to speak it—even if we make mistakes. Trying itself creates connection. It builds a feeling of oneness, unity, and fraternity among all of us.

Language is not a barrier—it is a bridge.
Let us cross it together.

Urgent Demand for Release of Telangana’s Socio-Economic Outlook

It is deeply concerning that the Telangana Government has not released the Socio-Economic Outlook for the past several years—namely 2023–24, 2024–25, and now approaching 2025–26.

The Socio-Economic Outlook is a crucial public document that provides insights into the government’s performance, policy priorities, sectoral initiatives, and outcomes across key areas such as investments, employment, welfare delivery, infrastructure, and social development. Its absence over the last two years has created a serious information gap for citizens, researchers, media, and civil society.

In particular, there is no publicly available data or assessment on:
Domestic and foreign investments entering the state
Outcomes of global and diverse investment summits
Sector-wise growth trends and policy impact
Progress made over the short, medium, and long term (2.5, 5, 10, and 20 years)
Without this document, it becomes extremely difficult to scrutinise, evaluate, or meaningfully debate how the present Congress-led government is performing.

Transparency and accountability are the cornerstones of democratic governance, and withholding such an important document undermines informed public discourse.

We therefore strongly urge the Telangana Government to release the Socio-Economic Outlook at the earliest, preferably during the 2025–26 Budget Session, in the interest of transparency, democratic accountability, and evidence-based policymaking.

INDIAN CURRENCY FALL - HOW IT IS BAD??

The Indian rupee slid to a record low of ₹92 against the US dollar, driven by foreign fund outflows, weak equity markets, and global risk-off sentiment. The depreciation is pushing up the cost of imports, overseas education, travel, and essentials while offering mixed effects for exporters and NRIs.

📉 Impact of Rupee Sliding on Importers (₹92 per USD)
When the Indian rupee depreciates sharply, importers are the worst affected stakeholders. The recent slide of the rupee to ₹92 against the US dollar has the following major consequences:

1️⃣ Higher Import Costs (Immediate Impact)
A weaker rupee means importers must pay more rupees for the same dollar-priced goods.
Imports like:
Crude oil
Natural gas
Coal
Edible oils
Fertilizers
Electronics & semiconductors become significantly costlier.
📌 Example:
If crude oil costs $80/barrel
At ₹83/$ → ₹6,640
At ₹92/$ → ₹7,360
➡️ Direct increase in cost2️⃣ Pressure on Profit margng
3️⃣ Imported Inflation (Cost-Push Inflation)
4️⃣ Worsening Trade Deficit
6️⃣ Impact on MSMEs & Small Traders

➡️ Direct increase in cost without any increase in quantity

2️⃣ Pressure on Profit Margins
Import-dependent sectors such as:
Aviation
Power generation
Pharmaceuticals (APIs)
Electronics & mobile manufacturing
face shrinking margins.
Importers often cannot pass the entire cost to consumers, especially in price-sensitive markets like India.

3️⃣ Imported Inflation (Cost-Push Inflation)
Costlier imports lead to:
Higher fuel prices
Increased transportation costs
Rise in input prices across industries
This fuels imported inflation, pushing up CPI and WPI.
📌 As highlighted in the article, this makes essential commodities more expensive, directly affecting consumers.
4️⃣ Worsening Trade Deficit
India imports far more than it exports (especially energy).
A weaker rupee:
Raises the import bill
Widens the Current Account Deficit (CAD)
📌 Higher CAD can:
Put pressure on forex reserves
Trigger further currency volatility

4️⃣ Worsening Trade Deficit
India imports far more than it exports (especially energy).
A weaker rupee:
Raises the import bill
Widens the Current Account Deficit (CAD)
📌 Higher CAD can:
Put pressure on forex reserves
Trigger further currency volatility

6️⃣ Impact on MSMEs & Small Traders
Small and medium importers lack strong hedging mechanisms.
Sudden rupee depreciation leads to:
Working capital crunch
Delayed payments
Reduced imports or business slowdown

7️⃣ Policy & RBI Implications (Indirect Impact)
RBI may:
Intervene in forex markets
Maintain tight liquidity
Higher interest rates (if used to control inflation) further increase borrowing costs for importers.

India is celebrating the 77th Republic Day today under the theme of ‘150 years of Vande Mataram’. President Droupadi Murmu will preside over the celebrations at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.

Who are the Chief Guests?
The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, are the Chief Guests on this momentous occasion.

Republic Day is not merely a national celebration-it is a tribute to the day our Constitution came into force, shaping India into the world’s largest democracy. It is a moment to honour the ideals that define us and celebrate the progress we continue to make together.

Republic of India

Mahatma Gandhi
Though India became a free nation on August 15, 1947, it declared itself a Sovereign, Democratic and Republic state with the adoption of the Constitution on January 26, 1950.

A salute of 21 guns and the unfurling of the Indian National Flag by Dr. Rajendra Prasad heralded the historic birth of the Indian Republic on that day. Thereafter 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and was recognised as the Republic Day of India.

The Constitution gave the citizens of India the power to choose their own government and paved the way for democracy. Dr. Rajendra Prasad took oath as the first President of India.
