Indian Society of Animal Production and Management Indian Society of Animal Production and Management is a registered society established vides Regd No. 18892/12 of 1983-84.

Membership of the society is open to academicians, scientists, research scholars and students working in different ICAR Institutes, State Agricultural Universities, State Veterinary and Animal Science Universities, Central and State Government Extension Departments, Non-Government Organizations. Since its establishment, ISAPM has engaged itself in propagation of science, research and technology tr

ansfer in the field of Livestock Production Management. The Society has more than nine hundred life members who actively participate in meetings, conventions, conferences and seminars organized by the Society in different educational and research institutes. The Indian Journal of Animal Production and Management is published by the Society at regular interval which is considered to be one of the important accredited journals in the field of livestock production. The Central Executive Committee of the Society and Editorial Board for the Indian Journal of Animal Production & Management are constituted at regular interval for better management of the society and publication of the esteemed journal.

International Livestock Conference "INDIGENOUS", Expo and Workshop oN "LIVESTOCK BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN INDIA AND ABROAD" ended with a greater success rate of presenting 350 research abstracts, 62 lead papers in 10 technical sessions attended by 400 + delegates from India and 20 delegates from Abroad. Nine teams have been scrutinized for 2nd National Quiz, wherein only 4 teams were selected and the team from Kerala Veterinary University won the first best award. An innovative session " Extempore" has been introduced in the conference wherein the tremendous response from the young scientist on various wide range of topics were discussed. The recommendations on the conference theme suitable to Indian conditions, Asia Pacific zone and Global needs are being drafted by the ICISAPM OC.
