Mathematics day celebrations organized by Department of Mathematics VGDC.

Orientation, Samarambham -2021 was organized for first year students on 12.11.2021. The students were given detailed information about various curricular and co curricular activities of the college.

Debate competition on Women Empowerment was held on 11.11.2021. The program was organized by the cultural committee of the college in collaboration with samskruthi foundation.

Those who didnt collect their hall tickets for sem 2 and sem 4 must collect on Monday between 10:30 am and 5:00 pm from the counters in New Block.

The IQAC of VGDC organized one day seminar on "Preparation for NAAC Peer Team Visit". Dr.R.Komala and Dr.Sreedevi are the Resource persons. The speakers gave various inputs and guided the teachers to organize the data effectively for securing better grade in NAAC.

The Department of Social Sciences in collaboration with IQAC Organized National Webinar on "National Education Policy-2020" The Resource persons Dr.Srinivasa Rao from JNU and Dr.Nagaraju from HCU have enlightened the audience on the major changes brought about in the National Educational Policy.

ప్రజాకవి కాళోజీ నారాయణరావు గారి జయంతి సందర్భంగా ఈ రోజు వివేకానంద ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాలలో తెలుగు విభాగం వారు ఆన్లైన్ 'తెలంగాణ భాష దినోత్సవా'న్ని నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్య వక్తగా హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రీయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం తెలుగు ఆచార్యులు డా.వై.సుధాకర్ గారు విచ్చేసి, తమ ప్రసంగం ద్వారా కాళోజీ వ్యక్తిత్వాన్ని విద్యార్థుల ముందు ఆవిష్కరించారు. సభాధ్యక్షత వహించిన కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డాక్టర్ సుకన్యగారు మాట్లాడుతూ విద్యార్థులు చక్కని తెలుగు భాషా నైపుణ్యాలను అలవర్చుకోవాలని ఆకాంక్షించారు. తెలుగు అధ్యాపకులు డా.భారతిగారు విద్యార్థులచే వ్రాయించి కూర్చిన పుస్తక సమీక్షల ఇ-బుక్ ను కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డాక్టర్ సుకన్యగారి చేత ఆవిష్కరింపజేశారు. తెలుగు అధ్యాపకులు రవి ప్రసాద్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ పుస్తక సమీక్షలు వ్రాయడం ద్వారా విద్యార్థులు చూపిన ప్రతిభను అభినందించారు. తెలుగు అధ్యాపకులు నవీనారాణిగారు మాట్లాడుతూ కాళోజీ వ్యక్తిత్వం నుండి విద్యార్థులు అలవర్చుకోవలసిన లక్షణాలను వివరించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఇతర అధ్యాపకులతో పాటు 100 కు పైగా విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు. కార్యక్రమం చివర పలువురు విద్యార్థులు మాట్లాడుతూ, ముఖ్య వక్త ప్రసంగానికి ముగ్ధులయ్యామని తెలిపారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా నిర్వహించిన క్విజ్ పోటీలో ఉత్సాహంగా పాల్గొన్నారు.
