A delusion is an irrational belief in something that is untrue that endures even after its false information has been clearly proven. A typical individual can fall victim to delusions, but they can be dispelled by reason, past experiences, and peer pressure. A traumatic event gives birth to a subsequent delusion. A brain disease's symptom in an insane individual is delusion. Emotional forces, not rational ones, are in control of it. They are present in psychoses that are schizophrenic, affective, and epileptic. Anxiety neurosis and other neurotic disorders do not exhibit delusions.

A dangerous disease that mostly affects the lungs is tuberculosis (TB). One group of bacteria is responsible for tuberculosis. When a person with tuberculosis coughs, sneezes, or sings, the disease can spread. This may release minute amounts of the germs into the atmosphere. The bacteria can then enter the lungs of another individual who inhales the droplets. Sickle cell anaemia is a type of genetic condition known as sickle cell disease. It alters the structure of red blood cells, which deliver oxygen throughout the body. Some red blood cells in sickle cell anaemia resemble sickles or crescent moons. These sickle cells also become hard and sticky, slowing or impeding blood flow.
