As you might have seen news of drones coming from our neighbouring countries; some were shot down by the BSF, also there was an anti drone system deployed in Red Fort. Taking inspiration from that we are bringing an event "Ambush".

Round 1: A General Knowledge Quiz related to basic Robotics & questions about Robots & present research in DRDO

Round 2:Teams would have to submit Design and Algorithms in the form of a Report which would be judged by Robotics Expert Professors

Round 3: Interview session with Judges (Professors/ Researchers from IIIT-Hyderabad)

Greetings Everyone,

CanSat is a worldwide competition conducted by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) where university teams build a space-type system and also get the chance to launch it. The problem statement for the year 2021 can be found beneath.

Every year a team from IIIT-H takes part in this competition and has qualified to the finals many number of times. The most recent one being in 2018, you can read about it beneath.

This year too, the institute has provided us with the chance to take part in this competition. Given the number of students interested in participating and the limited number of seats available, the Electronics & Robotics Club and Astronomy Club have jointly taken the responsibility for helping in the process of shortlisting members for the final team.

The interested members have to form teams and complete a few related tasks to be eligible for final selection. It is highly recommended to form teams with your seniors and juniors.
