বোতলের নিচে ত্রিকোণ চিহ্নের অর্থ

ঠান্ডা পানীয় থেকে জলের বোতল, কখনও কি লক্ষ্য করেছেন, এগুলির নিচে থাকে ত্রিকোণ চিহ্ন? হয়তো লক্ষ্য করেছেন কিন্তু সে নিয়ে বিশেষ চিন্তা-ভাবনা করেননি৷ আজ আপনাকে এই চিহ্নেরই অর্থ জানাবো…একবার চোখ বুলিয়ে নিন নিচের লেখাতে…
বিভিন্ন প্লাস্টিক বোতলের চারিত্রিক ইনডেক্স জানাতেই এই চিহ্ন ব্যবহৃত হয়৷ বোতলটি যে বিধিসম্মতবাবে তৈরি তারই প্রমাণ দেয় এই চিহ্ন৷ তবে এর মধ্যে থাকা সংখ্যা নির্দেশ দেয় এই বোতলটি কতটা নির্ভরযোগ্য৷

ত্রিকোণের মাঝে ১ লেখা- এর অর্থ বোতলটি তৈরির ক্ষেত্রে পলিথিলিন টেরেপথ্যালেট প্লাস্টিক ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, তাই একবারের বেশি এর ব্যবহার স্বাস্থ্যের পক্ষে হানিকারক হতে পারে৷

ত্রিকোণের মাঝে ২ লেখা- মূলত সাবান গুঁড়ো, শ্যাম্পুর ক্ষেত্রে এই ধরনের ঘন পলিথিন ব্যবহার করা হয়৷

ত্রিকোণের মাঝে ৩ লেখা- এই ধরনের প্ল্যাস্টিকে ‘পোলিভিনিল ক্লোরাইড’ বা ‘পিভিসি’-র ব্যবহার হয়ে থাকে৷ এই ধরনের বোতল বেশি ব্যবহারে ক্যানসারের ঝুঁকি থাকে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হয়৷

ত্রিকোণের মাঝে ৪ লেখা- দামি বোতল থেকে প্ল্যাস্টিক প্যাকেটে এই সংখ্যা হয়তো লক্ষ্য করে থাকবেন৷ এর অর্থ আপনি একাধিকবার ব্যবহার করতে পারেন সেটি৷

ত্রিকোণের মাঝে ৫ লেখা- খাবারের কন্টেনারে এই সংখ্যা থাকলে বুঝতে হবে তা অনেকবারই ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন এবং তা যথেষ্ট নিরাপদও৷

ত্রিকোণের মাঝে ৬ লেখা- এই ধরনের প্লাস্টিক তৈরি হয় পলিস্টিরিন এবং পলিকার্বনেট বিসপেনল-এ৷ এর থেকে ক্যানসারের সম্ভাবনাও রয়েছে বলে মত অনেকের৷ তাই এর ব্যবহারে ক্ষতির আশঙ্কা থেকেই যায়৷

ত্রিকোণের মাঝে ৭ লেখা- এক্ষেত্রেও তাই৷ মানবশরীরের হরমোনজনিত সমস্যা হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা থেকে যায় বলে মনে করেন অনেকে৷
তবে প্ল্যাস্টিকের ওপর চিহ্ন বা সংখ্যা যাই থাকুক, তার অর্থ নিয়ে যতই তর্ক-বিতর্ক থাকুক, এর ব্যবহারের বিষয়ে বেশিরভাগ জনই কিন্তু সতর্কবাণী দিয়ে থাকেন৷ তাই প্লাস্টিকের ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে সতর্ক থাকুন আপনিও ৷

About NewSpace India Limited (NSIL)
Background: on 6 March 2019, the Department of Space (DoS) registered its second commercial entity called NSIL in ISRO. The first commercial venture of DoS was Antrix Corporation Limited, which was set up in September 1992 to market products and services of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The NSIL was incorporated for commercially utilising research and development (R&D) activities carried out by ISRO in area of space.

In a pre-dawn launch on May 22, RISAT-2B, the country's newest microwave Earth observation satellite, rode to its orbit 557 km above the ground. Data that will come from the all-weather, day and night satellite are considered to be vital for the Armed Forces as also agriculture forecasters and disaster relief agencies.

In a first, all the 10 participating teams at the upcoming ICC World Cup will have a dedicated anti-corruption officer attached with it to deliver a corruption-free tournament.
Previous Structure: Earlier, the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Anti-Corruption Unit had its personnel deployed at each venue, means that participating teams had to deal with a number of officials over course of a tournament.
New Structure: Now, the same anti-corruption official will be assigned to a team from warm-up matches (start of competition) till end of the competition. They will be staying in same hotel as that of players and also travelling with them to training and matches.

The Retired judge of Indian Supreme Court Justice Madan B Lokur has been appointed to the Supreme Court of Fiji.

About The Appointment
Justice Lokur is appointed as a judge of Supreme Court of Fiji’s non-resident panel. He will assume charge of his new role on 15 August 2019.
Tenure: He has been appointed in new role for a period of three years.
Background: On December 31 2018, Justice Lokur demitted the office as a Supreme Court justice after his superannuation. It is likely that Justice Lokur received the offer from Chief Justice of the Fiji Supreme Court on the day of his retirement itself.

In one year it has three sessions in total. Justice Lokur will attend August session which starts from August 15 to August 30, 2019.
Other countries that have been invited by Fiji over the years are South Africa, Sri Lanka, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand.
About Justice Madan Lokur
In July 1977, he enrolled as an advocate and practised in High Court of Delhi and the Supreme Court.
In 1981, he became an Advocate-on-Record in Supreme Court.
In 1998 he was appointed as Additional Solicitor General and continued in that post till February 1999 when he was appointed an Additional Judge of Delhi High Court (HC).
In July 1999, he was made a permanent judge. Later he served as Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court and then Andhra Pradesh High Court before being elevated to SC.
He was appointed as judge of Supreme Court of India on 4 June 2012. He retired as Supreme Court judge on 31 December 2018, after a terme of more than 6 years.

The name for this cyclone was suggested by Bangladesh. The World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) has devised a mechanism where countries submit a list of names from time to time. Names of cyclones are chosen from this pool.

For tropical cyclones developing in the North Indian Ocean, countries like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan and Thailand send their names to the regional tropical cyclone committee.

At present, all eight countries have submitted eight names each for naming future cyclones. The name Fani was chosen from this list containing 64 names.

Scientists from the University of Edinburgh of Scotland using powerful computer simulations have discovered the existence of the state known as the chain-melted state.

Chain-Melted State
At the chain-melted state, atoms are both solid and liquid at the same time.
Scientists have discovered that when extreme pressure and temperature are applied to potassium, it can form a state in which most of the atoms form a lattice structure but a second set is in a fluid arrangement.
Scientists say that It would be like holding a sponge filled with water that starts dripping out, except the sponge is also made of water.
Over half a dozen elements including sodium and bismuth are thought to be capable of existing in the newly discovered state.

The US House of Representatives has voted to end US involvement in Yemen's civil war, rejecting President Donald Trump's support for Saudi-led campaign there.

The House approved the resolution by 247 to 175 votes that directs the President to remove US Armed Forces from hostilities in or affecting the Republic of Yemen within 30 days.

However, Mr Trump is expected to veto the legislation, which passed the Senate last month.

The White House has called the measure flawed and warned it would harm bilateral relations in the region.
