🪳 BED BUGS: Tiny Pests, Big Problem! 🛏️

Bed bugs are tiny, reddish-brown insects that feed on blood and usually become active at night. They can hide in mattress seams, bed frames, furniture cracks, luggage, and even clothing.

🔍 Common signs of bed bugs:
• Small bite marks or itchy welts
• Dark spots on mattresses or sheets
• Tiny eggs or shed skins
• Live bugs hiding around the bed

🧳 How do they spread?
Bed bugs can hitchhike in luggage, used furniture, mattresses, bags, and clothing. They don’t usually spread because of poor hygiene.

🛡️ How can you prevent them?
✅ Inspect luggage after travelling
✅ Wash and dry bedding and clothes using high heat when appropriate
✅ Vacuum mattresses, furniture, and surrounding areas
✅ Avoid bringing used mattresses or furniture home without careful inspection
✅ Consider professional pest control if the infestation is severe

⚠️ Did you know?
Bed bugs are not known to transmit diseases, but their bites can cause itching, allergic reactions, and significant discomfort.

🌱 ETHANOL — CAN IT POWER A GREENER FUTURE? ⛽

What if part of the fuel we use could come from plants instead of crude oil? 🤔

That’s where ethanol (C₂H₅OH) comes in.

🌾 Made from crops such as sugarcane, maize and other biomass, ethanol is a renewable biofuel that can be blended with petrol.

Why does it matter?

🔹 Renewable source of energy
🔹 Can help reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels
🔹 Supports farmers and rural industries
🔹 Can reduce some emissions compared with conventional petrol, depending on how it is produced and used

🇮🇳 India is also moving toward higher ethanol blending in petrol, with the E20 target playing an important role.

But there’s a bigger question:

👉 Is ethanol really the fuel of the future, or are electric and other alternatives better?

💬 What do you think? Comment YES or NO and tell us why!

🧮 Mathematics has a strange habit of proving the impossible.

Zero can change the value of everything.
Negative numbers can represent real-world quantities.
An irrational number can never be written exactly.
And yes... infinity isn't always the same size.

The deeper you explore mathematics, the more you realise it's not about calculations—it's about discovering truths that challenge common sense.

Every great mathematical idea begins with a simple question:
"What if everyone is wrong?"

Keep questioning. Keep learning.

♾️ Did you know that not all infinities are the same size?

For centuries, people believed infinity was just one endless concept. Then Georg Cantor revolutionized mathematics by proving that some infinite sets are actually larger than others.

This groundbreaking idea laid the foundation for modern set theory, computer science, and mathematical logic.

Mathematics is full of ideas that challenge our intuition—and that's what makes it so fascinating.

Mathematics is the Language That Gives Science Precision

Science helps us understand what happens in nature. Mathematics helps us measure how much, how fast, how far, and how accurately.

For example, science tells us that burning coal releases heat energy. That heat can be converted into mechanical energy to move a car or a train.

But mathematics answers the critical questions:
• How much coal is needed?
• How much heat will be produced?
• What will be the efficiency?
• How much distance can be covered?
• How much fuel will be consumed?

Without mathematics, science would explain phenomena, but it would lack precision, prediction, and engineering.

Science discovers the laws of nature. Mathematics makes those laws measurable and useful.

Mathematics is not just a subject—it is one of the most powerful tools of science.

⚛️ Ever wondered how scientists first imagined the atom?

Before Rutherford's nuclear model, J. J. Thomson proposed the famous **Plum Pudding Model**, where electrons were embedded inside a positively charged sphere. It was one of the first major steps toward understanding atomic structure.

📚 Perfect for:
✅ Class 11 Chemistry
✅ CBSE
✅ NEET
✅ JEE

💬 Did you know why this model was later rejected? Tell us in the comments!
