బి.ఐ.టి ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీలో మొదటి సంవత్సరం డిప్లొమా విద్యార్థులకు ఓరియంటేషన్ కార్యక్రమం
నూతనంగా ప్రవేశం పొందిన మొదటి సంవత్సరం డిప్లొమా విద్యార్థులకు బి.ఐ.టి ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీ, హిందూపురంలో 30 జులై 2026 గురువారం నాడు ఓరియంటేషన్ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. విద్యార్థులకు విద్యతో పాటు విలువలు, క్రమశిక్షణ, దేశభక్తి, వ్యక్తిత్వ వికాసం వంటి అంశాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
కార్యక్రమానికి బెంగళూరుకు చెందిన VDM on the Move వ్యవస్థాపక ఛైర్మన్ శ్రీ ఆచార్య అజిత్ కుమార్ గారు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా, హిందూపురం వన్టౌన్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ సర్కిల్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ శ్రీ కె. రాజగోపాల్ నాయుడు గారు గౌరవ అతిథిగా, హైదరాబాద్కు చెందిన ప్రముఖ సైకాలజిస్ట్, అనువాదకుడు, గ్రాఫాలజిస్ట్ డా. వై. శివరామ ప్రసాద్ గారు ప్రత్యేక ఆహ్వానితులుగా పాల్గొన్నారు.
కార్యక్రమం ప్రారంభంలో విద్యార్థినులు ఆహ్వాన నృత్యంతో అతిథులను ఆహ్వానించగా, అనంతరం అతిథులను వేదికపైకి ఆహ్వానించి, జ్యోతి ప్రజ్వలనతో కార్యక్రమాన్ని అధికారికంగా ప్రారంభించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కళాశాలలో గత విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో అత్యుత్తమ ప్రతిభ కనబరిచిన విద్యార్థులకు ముఖ్య అతిథుల చేతుల మీదుగా మెరిట్ సర్టిఫికెట్లు అందజేసి అభినందించారు. అనంతరం వివిధ విభాగాల హెచ్ఓడీలు తమ శాఖల ప్రత్యేకతలు, ల్యాబ్ సదుపాయాలు, శిక్షణ, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు మరియు విద్యార్థులకు అందుబాటులో ఉన్న సౌకర్యాలను వివరించారు.
ముఖ్య అతిథి శ్రీ ఆచార్య అజిత్ కుమార్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ దేశ నిర్మాణంలో యువత కీలక పాత్ర పోషించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. దేశభక్తి, జాతీయ సమైక్యత, భారత సాయుధ దళాల త్యాగాలను ఎప్పటికీ మరువరాదని సూచించారు. భారతీయ సంస్కృతి, ప్రాచీన జ్ఞానం మరియు ఆధునిక విజ్ఞానాన్ని సమన్వయం చేసుకుంటూ ముందుకు సాగాలని చెప్పారు. విద్యార్థుల వ్యక్తిత్వ వికాసంలో ఉపాధ్యాయులు, తల్లిదండ్రుల పాత్ర ఎంతో కీలకమని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఆధునిక విద్యతో పాటు విలువలతో కూడిన జీవన విధానాన్ని అలవర్చుకోవాలని, దేశాభివృద్ధికి తమ వంతు బాధ్యతను నిర్వర్తించాలని సూచించారు.
సర్కిల్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ శ్రీ కె. రాజగోపాల్ నాయుడు గారు విద్యార్థులకు కళాశాల జీవితంలోకి అడుగుపెట్టిన సందర్భంగా అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. కళాశాల జీవితం స్వతంత్ర బాధ్యతలతో కూడుకున్న కొత్త దశ అని పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రతి చర్యకు భవిష్యత్తుపై ప్రభావం ఉంటుందని గుర్తుంచుకోవాలని సూచించారు. ర్యాగింగ్ ఒక తీవ్రమైన నేరమని, దానిపై కఠిన చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు తప్పవని హెచ్చరించారు. మాదకద్రవ్యాలకు పూర్తిగా దూరంగా ఉండాలని, సోషల్ మీడియాను బాధ్యతాయుతంగా వినియోగించాలని విద్యార్థులకు సూచించారు.
డా. వై. శివరామ ప్రసాద్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ కొత్త వాతావరణానికి అనుగుణంగా మారడం, కంఫర్ట్ జోన్ నుండి బయటకు రావడం ప్రతి విద్యార్థి విజయానికి అవసరమని తెలిపారు. పరిపూర్ణత కోసం ఆందోళన చెందకుండా ప్రతిరోజూ కొంత పురోగతి సాధించడంపైనే దృష్టి పెట్టాలని సూచించారు. తగిన విశ్రాంతి మరియు ధ్యానం మెదడు పనితీరును మెరుగుపరుస్తుందని, ఒత్తిడిని తగ్గిస్తుందని వివరించారు. మంచి స్నేహాలు, పుస్తక పఠనం, మానసిక ఆరోగ్యం, సానుకూల ఆలోచనలు విజయానికి పునాదులని తెలిపారు.
కళాశాల ఛైర్మన్ డా. పి. చంద్ర మోహన్ గారు మాట్లాడుతూ బి.ఐ.టి ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీని ఎంచుకున్న ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. సాంకేతిక విద్యతో పాటు నైతిక విలువలు, క్రమశిక్షణ, నాయకత్వ లక్షణాల పెంపొందింపునకు కళాశాల కట్టుబడి ఉందన్నారు. ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి సురక్షితమైన, సమాన అవకాశాలు కలిగిన, ప్రోత్సాహకరమైన విద్యా వాతావరణాన్ని అందిస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. గత 25 సంవత్సరాలుగా వేలాది మంది విద్యార్థులను సమాజానికి ఉత్తమ ఇంజినీర్లు, సాంకేతిక నిపుణులు, పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలుగా అందించగలిగినందుకు గర్వంగా ఉందన్నారు.
కళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డా. ఎ. రమేష్ గారు నూతన విద్యార్థులకు స్వాగతం పలుకుతూ, తరగతులకు క్రమం తప్పకుండా హాజరవడం, ప్రతి విద్యా కార్యక్రమంలో చురుకుగా పాల్గొనడం విజయానికి కీలకమని తెలిపారు. తరగతి గది బోధనను పరిశ్రమ అవసరాలకు అనుగుణమైన ప్రాక్టికల్ నైపుణ్యాలతో అనుసంధానించే విధంగా కళాశాలలో శిక్షణ అందిస్తున్నామని వివరించారు. ప్రతి విద్యార్థిలో దాగి ఉన్న ప్రతిభను వెలికితీసేందుకు కళాశాల యాజమాన్యం అన్ని విధాలా అండగా ఉంటుందని తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా, కళాశాల పూర్వ విద్యార్థి సాయి కుమార్ మరియు అతిథుల చేతుల మీదుగా కళాశాల ఆవరణలో మొక్కలు నాటారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో అధ్యాపకులు, తల్లిదండ్రులు, విద్యార్థులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ప్రొఫెసర్ వై. రాధ సమన్వయకర్తగా వ్యవహరించగా, వివిధ విభాగాల అధిపతులు, అధ్యాపక బృందం కార్యక్రమ నిర్వహణలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
Orientation Programme for First-Year Diploma Students at B.I.T Institute of Technology
An Orientation Programme for the newly admitted first-year Diploma students was organized at B.I.T Institute of Technology, Hindupur on Thursday, 30 July 2026. The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students on the importance of education, values, discipline, patriotism, and personality development.
The programme was graced by Sri Acharya Ajith Kumar, Founder Chairman of VDM on the Move, Bangalore, as the Chief Guest; Sri K. Rajagopal Naidu, Circle Inspector, I Town Police Station, Hindupur, as the Guest of Honour; and Dr. Y. Shiva Rama Prasad, renowned Psychologist, Translator, and Graphologist from Hyderabad, as the Special Invitee.
The programme commenced with a welcome dance performed by the students, followed by the dignitaries being invited onto the dais. The event was formally inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
On this occasion, Merit Certificates were presented by the dignitaries to the students who had secured outstanding academic performance in the previous academic year. Subsequently, the Heads of various Departments briefed the gathering about the unique features of their departments, laboratory facilities, training programmes, career opportunities, and the various facilities available to students.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Sri Acharya Ajith Kumar called upon the youth to play a vital role in nation-building. He emphasized the importance of patriotism, national integration, and remembering the sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces. He encouraged students to move forward by integrating Indian culture, ancient wisdom, and modern knowledge. He highlighted the significant role of teachers and parents in shaping the character of students and advised them to adopt a value-based way of life alongside modern education while fulfilling their responsibilities towards the nation's development.
Circle Inspector Sri K. Rajagopal Naidu congratulated the students on entering college and stated that college life marks a new phase of independent responsibilities. He advised students to remember that every action has consequences for their future. He cautioned that ragging is a serious criminal offence and warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone involved in such activities. He also advised students to stay away from drugs and use social media responsibly.
Dr. Y. Shiva Rama Prasad spoke about the importance of adapting to a new environment and stepping out of one's comfort zone for success. He encouraged students to focus on making consistent daily progress instead of striving for perfection. He explained that adequate rest and meditation improve brain function and reduce stress. He emphasized that good friendships, reading books, mental well-being, and positive thinking form the foundation of success.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. P. Chandra Mohan, Chairman of the college, congratulated the students for choosing B.I.T Institute of Technology. He stated that the institution is committed to providing not only quality technical education but also fostering moral values, discipline, and leadership qualities among students. He assured that the college would provide every student with a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment. He expressed pride that, over the past 25 years, the institution has produced thousands of engineers, technical professionals, and entrepreneurs who have made valuable contributions to society.
Dr. A. Ramesh, Principal of the college, welcomed the newly admitted students and emphasized that regular attendance and active participation in every academic activity are essential for success. He explained that the institution is committed to bridging classroom learning with practical skills that meet industry requirements. He further stated that the college management would extend all possible support to identify and nurture the hidden potential of every student.
On this occasion, college alumnus Sai Kumar, along with the dignitaries, planted saplings on the college campus as part of the programme.
A large number of faculty members, parents, and students participated in the event.
The programme was coordinated by Prof. Y. Radha, while the Heads of various Departments and faculty members actively participated in organizing and conducting the programme.
