The Social Science Department of St Mary’s Sr. Sec. School enthusiastically celebrated Earth Day with the active participation of students of Classes IX and X. The programme aimed to spread awareness about the importance of protecting our environment and preserving nature for future generations.
The celebration began with an inspiring speech by the students highlighting the need to save the Earth, plant more trees, reduce pollution, and adopt eco-friendly habits in daily life. Students confidently shared meaningful thoughts and encouraged everyone to become responsible citizens towards Mother Earth.
As a symbol of love and care for nature, beautiful plants were presented to our respected Sister Principal. The gesture reflected the message of nurturing greenery and creating a healthier environment.

On 22nd April, the students of Classes IX and X under the guidance of the Social Science Department organized a meaningful Earth Day celebration in the school. Plants were presented as mementos to our respected Rev. Fr. Manager, Sister Principal, and the other Sisters of the school as a symbol of love and care for nature.
The programme included inspiring speeches highlighting the importance of protecting the environment and planting more trees. Students spread the message of conserving nature and reducing pollution through their thoughtful presentation. The entire school also took the Earth Day oath to keep our planet green, clean, and safe for future generations.
The celebration created awareness among students and encouraged everyone to become responsible towards Mother Earth.

सेंट मेरीस सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, ज्वालापुर, हरिद्वार में 6 मई 2026 को कक्षा- 6 से 8 तक के विद्यार्थियों की हिंदी भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्रों में आत्मविश्वास, स्पष्ट उच्चारण, और बोलने की कला को विकसित करना था। सभी प्रतिभागियों ने बड़े उत्साह व जोश के साथ प्रतिभा किया।

02.05.2026, St Mary’s Sr Sec School, Jwalapur Haridwar, joyfully celebrated Labour Day with great enthusiasm and respect for the dignity of work. The programme began with a warm welcome, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and positivity. Interreligious and intercessory prayers were offered, invoking blessings for all workers. A meaningful group song, “Kaam bada ho ya chhota…,” highlighted the value of every kind of work. Students of Classes III C and V C presented an energetic action song, spreading awareness about the importance of labor. The gathering was blessed by Rev. Fr. Manager, adding a spiritual touch to the celebration. Young students from Classes I and II delighted everyone with a lively group dance performance. Class IX C performed a thought-provoking skit, portraying the struggles and contributions of workers in society. Another graceful group dance by Class VII C and a captivating dance drama by Class XI A1 added vibrancy to the event. Words of appreciation by the support staff made the programme even more special and heartfelt. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone involved. Our respected Principal, Sr Meera, appreciated the efforts of all participants and encouraged students to respect every profession. We extend our sincere thanks to all the teachers and students who participated and made this programme a grand success.

An Orientation Programme for Classes 3 to 5 was successfully conducted at St. Mary’s Sr. Secondary School , Jwalapur , Haridwar 🏫 on 18 April 2026 . The programme aimed to introduce students to school values, discipline 📏, good habits 🌱, and responsible behaviour 👍 through engaging activities. It began with a prayer 🙏, followed by an introduction to the school’s vision and values 🌟. An inspiring video on discipline 📘 and a presentation on good habits 🌱 guided students towards positive practices. A fun ice-breaking activity 🎉 created enthusiasm among students. Sessions on washroom rules 🚿 and saving electricity ⚡🌍 promoted hygiene and awareness. An interview act 🎭 on becoming a scholar student motivated learners towards excellence. The programme concluded with important school rules 📏. It was conducted under the guidance of Principal Sister Meera 👩🏫 and organized by Teacher In-charges Kusum Sharma and Soni Pal 🙌 . The programme was informative and beneficial for all students.

आज सेंट मेरी सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल के प्रांगण में गणतंत्र दिवस पूरे उत्साह और हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। प्रबंधन समिति द्वारा ध्वज फहराया गया। तत्पश्चात बच्चों ने अपने देश प्रेम से ओतप्रोत गीतों और नृत्यों से सभी में देशभक्ति की भावना जगा दी। फादर मैनेजर द्वारा अपने भाषण में सभी को जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। उन्होंने कहा, 'एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक से ही देश सुचारू रूप से चल सकता है।'

The 12th Annual Sports & Athletic Meet – 2025 was successfully conducted on 26 November 2025 at St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School, Jwalapur. The programme reflected discipline, coordination and the true spirit of sportsmanship.
We were honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest, Shri Brijpal Singh Rathore, PCS (E.), Block Education Officer, Bahadarabad, Haridwar. His inspiring words added dignity and motivation to the event.

🌸 Opening Performances by the Little Students
The day began with delightful presentations by our youngest Maryites:
The Welcome Dance, performed with innocence and joy, created a warm and vibrant start to the programme.
The Umbrella Dance, also presented by the little ones, added colour, charm and perfect synchronisation, winning the appreciation of all present.
These performances set a cheerful and enthusiastic tone for the event.
🌼 Cultural & Physical Displays
The Prayer Dance followed, offering a serene and graceful beginning to the formal segment of the programme.
Students then excelled in various athletic events, including the 200m, 400m and relay races, displaying determination, strength and exceptional effort.
Additional highlights included:
A disciplined Yoga and Karate Display, showcasing balance, flexibility and inner focus.
A vibrant Rajasthani Folk Dance, performed with cultural authenticity and coordinated expression.
An exceptionally powerful Patriotic Dance, filled with energy, spirit and dynamic formations. The performance beautifully carried the colours of our nation and reflected the pride, unity and enthusiasm of our students. It stood out as one of the most spirited presentations of the day.
👨👩👧👦 Parental Participation
A heart-warming feature of this year’s Sports Meet was the active participation of parents.
To promote community bonding and joyful involvement, a Tug-of-War event was organised especially for them. This segment brought immense excitement and allowed parents to experience the sportsmanship and enthusiasm of the day firsthand. Their presence and participation added a warm, engaging dimension to the programme.
🏆 Prize Distribution & Conclusion
The event concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, honouring the achievements of students who excelled in various categories. The day ended with the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.
