🇮🇳 Celebrating the Spirit of Independence at St. Mary’s Elementary School 🇮🇳

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit at St. Mary’s Elementary School.

The celebration beautifully reflected our love and respect for the nation. The thought-provoking skit left a meaningful message, while the energetic and graceful dance performances filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervour. The inspiring speech reminded everyone of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and encouraged our students to value the freedom we enjoy today.

A heartfelt appreciation to all our talented students for their wonderful performances and to the teachers who guided and prepared them with dedication. Their combined efforts made the celebration truly memorable.

May we always carry the spirit of freedom, unity, responsibility, and love for our country in our hearts.

Trees Plantation Drive of Scouts and Guides at
St. Mary's Sr. Sec. School, Jwalapur

"A scout and a Guide is a friend of nature and a friend to all living beings."
As scouts and Guides, our motto is "Be Prepared" and "Service to others". One of the best way we serve is through Tree Plantation Drive. To create environmental awareness and contribute to a greener planet, the Scouts and Guides Unit of St. Mary's Sr. School, Jwalapur has organised Tree Plantation Drive on 12th August, 2026 in the school campus under the guidance of our honourable Principal Rev. Sr. Meera, Scout Masters Dr. Prem Chauhan, Mr. Victor Masih, Mr. B. Pratap and Mr. Subodh Kumar and Guide Captains Mrs. Meena Semwal and Mrs. Pooja Garg.
Trees are the lungs of our Earth. They give us oxygen, shade, food and protect us from pollution. The main aim of Tree Plantation Drive is to protect environment and spread awareness among society about the importance of trees in our life.
The Tree Plantation Drive is not just about digging pits and planting saplings. For scouts and Guides - it is a promise to serve nature and humanity. Trees we plant today give shade, food and clean air to the next generation.
The Drive was successful. Through this Drive, children learnt teamwork, responsibility and love for nature. Scouts and Guides not only planted trees, but also promised to nurture them. This activity helped us understand that small actions create a big change for the environment.

✨ A Historic Day at St. Mary's Sr. Sec. School, Jwalapur! ✨

29th July 2026 marked the grand opening of our Golden Jubilee Year, celebrating 50 years of excellence, values, and cherished memories.

The day was made even more special with the Investiture Ceremony, where the newly elected Student Council took the oath of leadership and service. In the gracious presence of Mr. Sanjay Chauhan, C.O., Jwalapur as chief guest, Rev. Fr. Manager and Sr. Meera (Principal) , the young leaders were inspired to lead with integrity, discipline, and dedication.

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION ( 22-7-2026)
'Save Water' Poster Making Competition was conducted class wise in the school on 22-7-2026. The competition helped the students learn about water conservation through art, creative and strong messages. Students used bright colours, waste material and catchy slogans to show why every single drop of water is precious for life on Earth.

This activity was conducted for class 1 and 2 on 21/7/2026.
The activity included various mathematical based (2-D and 3-D shapes) rounds which includes-
Round 1- Informative round
Round 2- Shape parade
Round 3- Shape hunt
Round 4- Shape Detective
Round 5- Build and name it
Round 6- Secret Challenge
Each round was conducted successfully with students active participation and the overall programme was successful.
