HAZRAT SAIYADANA MOHAMMAD QUADRI: A reknown Aulia -Allah is one among those who travelled from Baghdad Sharif ( IRAQ) to Amjhar Sharif located at the
District of Auragabad ( Bihar) in India in 1426 A.D.He is descended from the family of " Mahboob-E-Subhani Mohiuddin Abdul Quadir jilani Baghadadi". However , his early days of education came from his parents and then he was tought by the reknown Ule
ma & Soleha ( intellectuals) of that period of time. The proverb goes " The growing plant reveals itself in seedling" found its verification in HAZRAT SAIYADANA MOHAMMAD QUADRI. He was sent to the Mecca Mukarrama and Madina Manaowwara . During his stay at Mecca Mukarrama for several years, he performed several Haj and Umera. At the age of 36, He left for India with 40 Murid & Khalifas to being obedient to his father's instruction . During his journey, he stayed at the several places like Qandhar, Multan, Surhurpur ( Kichhochha Sharif) , Narhana and finally decided to take his shelter at Amjhar Sharif ( Bihar - India). On his way to Surhurpur , he was married as per the instruction of his father - Syed Durvesh Muhammad Shamsuddin Quadri. By the grace of Allah, he was blessed with three sons and three daughters
At last HAZRAT SAIYADANA MOHAMMAD QUADRI made his final journey from the world. He passed away in 1520 A.D. leaving many devotees behind to follow his path - the path of Allah ! His Shrine is at Astana Amjhar Sharif where Urs Mubarak is celebrated every year on the 1st of Rabiul Awwal ( Urdu month). A good number of devotees come from different corners of India as well as abroad to participate in the Urs Mubarak and pay tribute to him at Astana-E-Mubarak. ENDOWED WITH THIS FACT, AMJHAR SHARIF IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE SECOND BAGHDAD SHARIF IN INDIA.
