It is very sad that the current office bearer of All Assam Chess Association is trying to hold the Annual general meeting and elections by unconstitutional means and continue their wrong doings...There is no transparency in the financial statement of the association and the report of the internal auditor is also not submitted till date. Also a huge amount of loan is shown in the books of accounts which will be a burden for anyone who takes charge of the new committee of All Assam Chess Association. Also the government of Assam has already expressed their displeasure at the functioning of the current association and have also written to All India Chess Federation to take action against them.
All Assam Chess Association Ad hoc Committee and other District Association get success in court case!

The Adhoc Committee and other district associations had contested the suit that the courts at Guwahati had no jurisdiction to adjudicate the decision of AICF as the jurisdiction lies at Chennai as per the constitution of AICF. The Learned Civil Judge upheld the contention and rejected the plaint.
