ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF INDIA, AHMEDABAD CELEBRATES UDYAMITA PAKHWADA WEEK AT NALCHAR VILLAGE, SEPAHIJALA

As part of the Udyamita Pakhwada celebrations observed from 9th to 22nd November 2025, the North East Regional Office Guwahati, Assam organized Entrepreneurship week on the 19th of November 2025 at CMTC Hall, Nalchar of Sepahijhala district.
The program was graced by Mr. Subhash Dutta, Additional District Magistrate, Sepahijala District followed by speaker of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission who highlighted the crucial role of the people from villages to have an entrepreneurial mindset and expanding their markets to other states and also countries. Participants actively engaged in discussions on Social & Women Entrepreneurship: Inclusive Growth through Enterprise”, entrepreneurship opportunities, challenges, and support mechanisms available through various government and institutional initiatives. A total of sixty-five aspiring women entrepreneurs took active participation in the Programme and took keen interest in various topics and discussions.
The session which inspired participants to embrace innovation and social impact as key drivers of enterprise creation. This initiative was part of EDII’s nationwide celebration of Entrepreneurship Week, aimed at fostering innovation, inclusion, and entrepreneurial spirit across all regions of the country.

Celebrating Udyamita Pakhwada 2025!

As part of the Udyamita Pakhwada celebrations held from 9th to 22nd November 2025, the North East Regional Office of the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) organized an engaging session on “Social & Women Entrepreneurship: Inclusive Growth through Enterprise” on 11th November 2025 at Greater Sonapur, Guwahati.
The session was graced by Mr. Achinta Baruah, Advisor, National Productivity Council and officials from the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM). The discussions focused on empowering women entrepreneurs, fostering social enterprises, and encouraging inclusive growth through innovative business models. Participants shared inspiring ideas and explored opportunities for sustainable livelihood creation and community-led enterprise development.
This initiative was part of EDII’s nationwide Udyamita Pakhwada celebration, aimed at nurturing innovation, inclusion, and entrepreneurial excellence across all regions of India.
